I have the US CLIQ and, while it is 3G, it works seamlessly in Europe. And, unlike my previous Razr, it found the right band automatically when I turned it on after arrival. I'm not a techie, but the CLIQ is a sweetheart. If you're T-mobile, as we are, it's the way to go!

171171, 11 Jan 2010I have an upgrade due soon and usually only ever use nokia.... moreIf you want a "phone" which works smoothly (without hang) and provides clear good and clear voice quality, get the Dext / Cliq.
If you want "brick" which often hangs, capture more background noise so the other party can listen to everything else except what you're saying, get the N97.

I have an upgrade due soon and usually only ever use nokia. I am now torn between the Motorola Dext and Nokia N97 but have read bad reports on the n97. Could anyone give their opinion to sway me 1 way or the other.

dext is way way beter design and looking and capacitive screen is excellent and you can update android 1.6 to 2
and moto blur is realy well

Don't worry Droid & Cliq owners, you're not going to be left in the dark. Motorola also announced that they'll be bringing both the Motorola Droid & Motorola Cliq to Android 2.1. Which means we should be able to enjoy all the goodies that made the Nexus One so jaw-droppingly sexy on our Motorola Android phones. We're definitely interested in seeing Motoblur and Android 2.1 interact, but that's a discussion for another day
