Which “Droid 2” did I have? It had a built in radio with a telescopic antenna.
Your spec sheet says there was no radio. I also remember why I hated the phone. The browser didn’t support “Adobe Flash”. Every time I would happen across a web page using Adobe Flash the screen would go blank. The phone part worked great.

Even newer Verizon phones probably won't work with Consumer Cellular, as it uses the AT&T/T-Mobile networks and those operate at frequencies that aren't supported by the radios in most Verizon phones.

I'm thinking about getting this phone tomorrow and turning it into a straight talk phone. Is it a good phone and would it work with a straight talk SIM card?

Keyboards arent the thing anymore. Its hard to even find a good keyboard phone but i have a feeling that this phones gunna b the best keyboard phone to get. Instead of a shit phone like the samsung stratosphere. One of the worst excuses of a "great" smart phone verizon has to offer.
