one of my friends is getting me this phone from the US. its a brand new one. i have a question. will it work in India??? according to me it should work. but i need to ask all experts here. im in love with the D2G. i will be using it on a GSM network here. please let me know soon if it will work as i need to tell my friend who will be leaving from US by 27th Feb.
also if it wont work or is locked...is it possible to unlock it or make it work???

Can you buy this from any other company than verizon? I hate operator-locked mobiles.

Ragner, 12 Jan 2011Don't buy it if you are planning to use it on GSM network o... morei bought it through verizion and they gave me the steps to unlock the phone...im in india using the phone on a gsm network and it works fine...full signal and everything. the fact is buy it with a contract...after the ffirst month you can freeze your contract with verizon and pay $10 a month...or nothing at alll...im not sure, i forgot. but if u dont have a problem payin a lil bit everymonth u should be fine.

i just bought this phone yesterday, any of u who used this phone have a signal issue? mine always showing 1 bar for the signal. by the way im using in Malaysia.

Hi Harry,
This phone is available at ebay usa at very reasonable price. My only question is as I would be using in India on a gsm network will I face problems. On site it shows that the phone has bad esn, some show clean esn.Will it affect my phone. Also I want to know whether it has Gorilla Glass Display as no where on site i can find it because Milestone 2 has Gorilla Glass Display. Also this phone does not include earphones. Is it worth going for this phone over milestone 2 if I use in India on a gsm network. Prices for Milestone 2 are more than droid 2 global everywhere. Let me know you opinions on that.

atrix team , 23 Jan 2011thank u friend for your atenttion yes this is realy unf... moreHi atrix team...yes it is unfortunate that the rating has gone down and i personally feel that this fone is the best so far...but i have a Q for you if you may find time to respond...you see one of my cousins is in Germany and i have asked him to get this phone for me but i am not sure weather this phone is available there or not...he also asked a few retailers he knew but did not get a sure response from them...i love this fone and want it badly he is coming to visit me in March..so if you could please let me no weather this phone it available there in Germany the GSM one or when will it be launched i will really appreciate you guys..?

but we mut know that always the best have more enemy and adverse
for example look at atrix - iphone4 or iphone 3gs rate !???!
and look at iphone 4 sale / so this rate and vote in this site or other site is not good reference for select the new phone
for new buy u must see whats your need from phone ?

I can't believe fanboys from other brands would go this far just to force their personal choice on top. This is sad
'cause they're misleading potential buyers of this phone.
