Well, hard to say actually. No one bought the Milestone 2. I didn't 'cause I was still so happy with my original Milestone. Same goes for most others. Therefore no Milestone 3 in Europe.
However, this is a world phone and you can buy it unlocked from the US (ebay etc.) and use it with any GSM-carrier :)
I still have my original Milestone, which will be replaced my the new RAZR on December 24th ;)
Hehe, I feel like I child. I already have the phone, but can't use it until Christmas as it's a gift from my wife :p
Gonna miss the full physical qwerty though :/

Seriously contemplating. I love everything about this phone, well just about everything. The absence of radio is a blow. That's rather minor though...still think imma purchase this. I'm due for an upgrade!

newbee, 08 Nov 2011lost 1 customer due to no radio :(I rooted thiz fone and set up firmware STEEL DROID 3.0 included RADIO...very good and awesome...

It seems the Droid 3 does have a radio although it seems not to be enabled by default. Run a search on Google to find the third party software.

And more of that; an american phone works well in europe? Usually technoligies have a compatibility problem between eu and usa.
Honestly, i dont know what do. My htc hero finally die :_D and i need one new handset
