Lacks up.to.date cutting edge cpu/gpu. Needs IPS display. Insufficient RAM when other oem's using 1g min...decent but moto has to push itself back to leading edge or it'll end up as below tier1 mfg status. Probably best physical qwerty kb available at moment but only if you're with single carrier offering device. Hers hoping google will push moto back to its previous reputation for producing some best in class devices. Otherwise it means going to samsung provided sammie builds some hw qwerty kb's soon.

I'm an Australian and got my Droid 3 from there with no problems.

I've had the Droid 3 for about 2 months now.

I've had no problems with the supposed weight - it makes the phone quite solid and sturdy - mine has already had a few drops.

The screen is good - not that great in sunlight however compared to other screen technologies.
(On a personal note - I find the 4" a bit small at times, but it's still as big as QWERTY phones get at the moment)

No FM Radio is a bit of a downer. It's a bit hard to understand why it wasn't included. I ended up buying an external radio. It's frustrating that it's not included.

The keyboard is quite good - there a few odd button placements (especially secondary functions) that take some time getting used to however.

It's probably a personal preference thing - but I'd prefer hardware buttons on the side rather than the capacitive/touch ones.

Even when new, the power/lock button feels a bit flimsy, like it can be difficult to push in at times.

Overall I think it's a great choice for those who want a physical keyboard. Having a physical keyboard also frees up so much screen space when using the phone (as you don't need to fill up half of it with a virtual keyboard), which is really handy.

Nice but its ranked after Galaxy S2. Querty keypad is good but it has incressed its size and weight, which can never say right at this time when the world is becoming more and more portable.
