Motorola Droid 4 poses for some proper spyshots, looks familiar

In case you liked the Motorola Droid RAZR, but happen to have knack for hardware QWERTY keyboards, we have some good news for you. The freshly leaked Motorola Droid 4 is bound to fulfill your thumbs' fantasies in the immediate future.

As you can notice in the picture above, the fourth installment of the Droid line is packing a slide-out, illuminated, hardware QWERTY keyboard, packed in a slim, RAZR looking body. According to the author of the pictures, the keyboard is one of the best slide-out QWERTYs out there.

As far as specs go, not much is known at the moment. The phone is reportedly packing a 4" screen and a non-removable battery. LTE connectivity will be on board, along with the typical for all recent Motorola Droids, HDMI out. The camera is capable of recording full HD videos, but its resolution is yet to be known. Eight megapixels are more than likely. Regarding the CPU of the device, a dual-core unit is all but certain - we just can't tell you which one is it going to be at the moment.

In the software department, you will find Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread. MotoACTV syncing will also be present. Given Motorola's recent update commitment however, Ice Cream Sandwich is not completely out of question as well.

If you are hoping to see the advanced Super AMOLED screen of the RAZR in the Droid 4, you will most likely be disappointed. You will notice in the shots above, that the unit of the device does not have the same contrast or deep blacks as the typical Super AMOLED unit. It is most certainly an LCD display.
