Nokia name their new AMOLED screen as AMOLED Clear Black. So i don't think Motorola going to use Super Amoled plus becoz that's only for Samsung devices.

MBN, 29 Oct 2011SO i guess no one is going to point out how this is a BLATA... moreactually, ya. I did. A day before you posted. Good for Moto design to step away from the black rectangle all androids to this point have defaulted to. However, I don't think it's cool at all that the are ”barrowing” the Nokia Symbian ^3 design. The new Symbians are coming out with different designs, but still that's cheap.
Hey, at least we all know Nokia isn't going to sue and block sales like another company whos name starts with an A and ends with pple.

Another Droll Droid....Come On Moto...time to launch something cutting edge for all those awaiting any OEM to launch a topend QWERTY device. Instead we'll get moderste quality graphics with yesterday's CPU/GPU combination...UGH!!
Surpise we endusers....1.5GHZ duocore...Super AMOLED plus with 2GB RAM, NFC and more. Otherwise Moto will continue to pushout "nice" but nothing special as it has been doing for more than a year.....

Once you go Nokia ClearBlack you never go back. But I think this is as far as Motorola can go in displays. If it wants better displays they are going to have to look elsewhere for a display manufacturer. Other than that I welcome more QWERTY devices. Nothing can beat the feeling of typing away on a QWERTY keyboard.

Samsung makes all the AMOLEDS. why would it give motorola its superduperdeluxe prototype thats better than all the others?
If you read specs, at least try to have common sense.

Another solid release, Google backing is beginning to show results already. Samsung Galaxy S3 nowhere to be seen, for at least 8 months, and Nexus a bit of a disappointment.
Motorola is going to take a lot of Samsung customers. The rest taken by Nokia 800 buyers.

JQ, 28 Oct 2011Agreed. Screen size should be 4.65".Design please foll... moreThis is the Droid 4, follow up of Droid 3. These are not meant to be big and bulky. 4.0" is perfect fit for most. 4.3" can get a bit big. Even higher would be too big.

Anonymous, 28 Oct 2011Damn no AMOLED; otherwise this would have been the perfect phone. No Amoled are you sure? Moto Razr did beat both Nexus and Galaxy S2 with the new qHD display Super Amoled Advanced. Read the spec before you post:
4″ screen (assuming Super AMOLED
Advanced)
Full 5-row “illuminated” keyboard
RAZR styling
4G LTE
Non-removable battery
Android 2.3.5
1080p video recording (assuming
8MP)
Front camera
HDMI out
MotoACTV syncing

Anonymous, 28 Oct 2011The Good
1) QWERTY Bacl lit slide out
The Bad
1) N... moreThis must be a Samsung fanboy.
1. How many Smartphone do you know with double sim available.
2. No Stylus in addition. It's a proof that you are a Samsung fanboy.
3. Moto will update the RAZR six weeks after Nexus is released.
4. Droid 4 have 4.0 inch so what is wrong with it.
5. No removable battery, this is a option you find in iPhone devices and people still buy it. As long as we are happy with it, So what else!
