Playing with mine since Friday. It's my first android phone. It's amazing fast. Jumping around from mp3s, its instant. Sending a 1 minute video msg takes about 2 seconds. I'm loving it and I've barely scratched the surface.

WOW...its Perfect... and finally a decent full touch screen phone with the added benefit of a nice(really nice) keyboard..
Im impressed...moto has been around for a really long time (moto being my first phone in 1999), and it seems they getting back into the game and is able to compete with the top "dogs".

innovation is the name of the game in this industry and coming up with new ideas is where the brands are going to stand out!!!

Soon people wont worry to much about operating systems as they are all so close already and most of them running on the same anyways.e.g. Android.

Actual device itself is the heart of it all and MOTO is doing a good job:)

          keep it up
looking forward to its future success

This is really disappointing that motorola has launched this phone without GSM capabilities .Earlier it was believed that this will be a world phone OR global phone & will work on CDMA and gsm both.I dont know what they have been doing? Motorola has lost a major number of their customers by not providing gsm capabilities.BIG DISAPPOINTMENT MOTOROLA.

Too bad that Motorola and Verizon together decided to make this a non-global phone.....i would have gone out and gotten in really soon if gsm was there. Instead, as others have said, I will wait to see what iPhone5 comes up with....

The device is globally compatible. The SIM is what designates which bandwidths a device like this will utilize because it has the same network hardware as many of your other models. As AT&T owns the GSM bandwidth in the USA, Verizon had no reason to include that capability on this devices SIM. However, when in Manila I can insert a Globe, Sun, or SMART SIM and the device works fine. Also remember any nation that boasts the 3G or 4G networks will be able to host this device.
