This phone is just amazing, the camera is outstanding its easy to use and I'm a heavy user and the lowest I've gotten on battery is 15% and I had used it for a day and a half. I'd recommend this phone to anyone

I was excited to get this phone, because I love Motorola, but I am not thrilled now that I have had it. It has no social media function, so I can't update my networks or comment without downloading the app from the website. The phone has randomly cut off during activity and the phone will mute itself and the only way to get volume back is to restart it. I'm going with the Samsung Note 2 and seeing if that is a better fit for me. Very dissatisfied!

The phone uses mico SIM (the kind used by iPhone 4s), non mini-SIM (the "old kind") or nano-SIM (the kind used by iPhone 5).

Motorola has always made solid sturdy phones. I started out with microtac, startac, razor (1st ), but what frustrates me though is that of late they are always a step behind others. TOO LITTLE TOO LATE seems to have become the norm than the exception. Just look at the Razr HD and the Razr Maxx HD line, beautiful phones announced some time back and not yet released globally. While others have announced their phones much later and have already launched them. It will already be on its way to being obsolete by the time it reaches the masses and they will wonder why sales are so poor. Good looks alone will not sell your phones, don't be the blonde of the industry, win back that reputation of being the industry leader and innovator.

Some markets are just starting to see the old razor maxx.....cumon moto, stop concentrating on China alone, remember China has lots of their own local brands while others don't and eagerly await your release. Make just 3 phones in 3 tiers, but make sure each of them is the best in their respective class. With heavy heart and after much waiting, getting Sam note II.

                                        Let's see....
Droid Razr Maxx battery Li-Ion 3300 mAh with 4.3" AMOLED screen
                                        vs.
Droid Razr HD (without the Maxx) battery 2530 mAh with 4.7" Super AMOLED screen.
Nice to have the slightly larger screen (among other features), but battery life is going to suck.

Why doesn't Motorola just ditch the Razr model and only make Maxx versions? We all know the battery life is not fabulous.

Luckily, they make a Droid Razr Maxx HD (which was announced already)
