you need to connect to the internet in order to listen to steam radio
you need data plan for that witch means you need to pay for something that you can have for free - included in the phone price
using data 3g/4g drains the battery like hell this means will give you max 5-6hrs streaming with battery full and no other usage.
and like in cars if you get a top phone witch costs a lot of money i want it full option like in cars. how about a rolls royce with out a radio. why you need a radio if you are so rich you can afford a rolls? just because i paid a lot of money thats why

Why is everyone complaining about a RADIO?? This is 2012 not 1975. Use Pandora or 8tracks if you want streaming radio with more options than you can fathom. Otherwise just pop in a large SD card and fill the phone up with all of your personal music.

Just buy a radio! t... morei won't buy a phone unless it has a radio, its a deal breaker, when i up a ladder all day in schools and offices with people working i need a radio pluged in my ear, you want to take a separate radio up there and as for battery life? by that logic whats the point of having a phone that plays video or play music on it? that uses your battery? a lot? phones are to thin these days look at the galx 3 i rather have it twice as bit or think should i say and have 2 or 3 time the battery life :) thats what people should be talking about.

I like the design of this phone it looks good and not plastic what most phones look like these days, either this or the iPhone 5 .... I problem choose this because ios feels so boring both my brothers have it and it's play

Also, an FM radio hardly uses any power, certainly far, far less than a streaming radio app. Google don't include FM Radio's on their Nexus handsets and now Moto is owned by Google, I guess they'll be doing the same which is just plain stupid.

No FM radio = epic fail given that Samsung and HTC always include one perfectly well. I just don't understand why companies like Moto get even the basics wrong, it wouldn't kill them to include a proper radio, not everyone wants the rubbish streaming audio option that requires a data plan and kills your battery.

the actual harware required for a radio is too bulky!
The battery on normal Smartphones die quick enough with all the funtionality they already have...
and you want a radio on top of that???

Put a fridge, microwave and coffee machine on it too!
