lol, 25 Dec 2017its the best phone u will ever use...i have used it... it d... moreIt's a good phone still but battery life isn't as good as it was when it shipped with 4.4.4 KitKat. This phone still has no problems with using the internet, emails, gaming, etc. Side note it still plays games well but it won't play the most demanding games on max settings so keep that in mind if your wanting this phone for just gaming but everything else works well on this phone..... You won't be disappointed have a wonderful day.🙂

Bought in 2014, and phone has been working perfectly fine. At first, was extremely disappointed by the camera, the photos used to become blurry, from the slightest move, even from breathing, light was also quite bad and camera overall app was utter junk. Now, after several software updates all this issues seem to be gone and camera works excellently. IR proximity sensors, that turn on the screen are extremely useful, especially to check the time at night, when phone is laying on the nightstand. Unfortunately one of 4 IR sensors has died, after the phone fell on asphalt from approximately 1.7m (I'm 1.83m+2cm of boots, the phone was near my ear), the overall damage was: slightly dent plastic on the top left corner and dead IR sensor located in that corner, no glass damage at all, anyway, screen wake up gesture still works with only 3 sensors operational.
Another strange issue, is that the stock charging adapter has stopped working with this phone, works fine with other devices, and the phone-with other adapters, just not it's own.
The battery life is good (~1d), used to be excellent (2-2.5d), but now, after several android updates, has degraded drastically, the main consumer seems to be chrome (if disabled from options->apps, battery life extends significantly).
Cell signal quality is good, several times while being in mountains with extremely poor signal, I was the only one in the group who had connection (other phones: samsungs, iphones, xiaomi etc. same carrier). GPS is also quite good and accurate, however, if used with mobile data off, and on very tight streets, GPS has to be restarted to acquire satellites, anyway, better than nothing (my friends phones, some new middle priced Samsung and some chinese junk, couldn't acquire GPS satellites at all).
The main drawback is lack of the SD card, back then, I thought that 32GB would be more than enough, today I'm constantly running out of space and cannot extend it by any means.
So now in 2017, after 3 years of service, the phone works fine, apps are still running smoothly, battery life has shortened drastically (or apps, mainly chrome, power consumption has risen a lot, also introduction of 3G in my country might be the cause),
camera quality has significantly improved (it seems, issues were in the software), but the phone is constantly out of space, however among any new phones I couldn't find anything as convenient (proximity sensors and shake gestures) and comfortable (form and materials) "to the hand" as Droid Turbo (haven't been to the US for several years, so was not able to check out the new version).

I've had the Motorola Droid Turbo since March 2015. I\ am never able to access hyperlinks within an email. Rarely can I open an email attachment. The most recent update has the text day and time in white font in a gray bubble. I am unable to read the day and time at all and there is no option to change back to black with no bubble.

When Motorola does their next update I hope I can see the text day and time once again.

This phone is utter junk don't listen to the people on here this is the real turbo experience. Yes great hardware and memory, strong screen and body, sure ill agree. Downfalls: mind you i did a lot of digging cause i had a problem. These phones have a fatal hardware defect that turns them into bricks, less then two weeks after my warranty went out my power button stopped working, lol fishy sounding to anyone else?, anyway Verizon wouldn't help me so I started digging and that's how I discovered that this is a fatal defect, if you allow the phone to die after the defect it becomes a brick. I thought I could make it a while never letting it die till I get a new phone, well after a few months of this the phone just decided to turn itself off and it became a BRICK!!! I don't recommend this for anyone.

I've had this phone since March 2015 and have kept tempered glass on the cover and an otterbox on it. My only complaint after this amount of time is that with Marshmallow 6.0, the GPS seems to be a little buggy and takes a minute to find your location. I'm nearly out of room, but the memory isn't expandable, so that's another downside. As far as waterproofing goes, I've accidentally submerged it several times, but it's never been affected. The camera is excellent. I have an iPhone 6S for work, but the picture quality is pretty poor compared to the droid turbo. Battery life is still good. After using it a good 4 hours or so at the end of the day, it'll start to drop to the alert level (not to mention I work in a manufacturing plant, and the metal building is a natural battery-drainer). Would highly recommend this phone to anyone looking for a now-inexpensive phone with all of the bells and whistles you'll need.

Cryptic360, 07 Nov 2017I am planning of getting either the turbo or turbo 2. But m... moreOh and if you are talking about durability it is durable as hell but the Droid turbo 2 is even better in durability.Droid turbo 2 was the first shatterproof phone and can withstand any fall or damage.
Watch the "Droid turbo 2 275 meters fall test" or "Drop test droid turbo 2 vs the competition" on YouTube.

Cryptic360, 07 Nov 2017I am planning of getting either the turbo or turbo 2. But m... moreCamera:The back camera is good enough, but Samsung S5 has a better camera. The camera is 21 mp but it's not that much impressive. If we talk about front, the quality is poor but it is bright enough and what would you expect from a 2mp camera. So I'd say the camera it's "fine".

Battery:Battery life is also fine.It works from 5 to 6 hours for me and I think it's okay for a phone with heavy specs and I also keep all Moto activities on all the time which consumes battery like hell.So the battery is "Good".

Speed:The real advantage of this phone is it's speed. It is literally amazing when it comes to speed.I have never experienced lag or hangs on this phone and I am using this phone since years.Tl:Dr: the speed of this phone is literally amazing!

Gaming:There is a little over heating problem with this phone while gaming but it is perfect to run the heaviest games even now in 2017! My gaming experience on this phone is very good.

Screen:The resolution and pixel density of the screen is cool and Screenshot quality is good too but when it comes to brightness it is good indoors but when outdoors it is not good, sadly.

Body:It's back is well protected with kevlar back or ballistic nylon with even tougher aluminium and it has a good design. The camera protection is also good and it does not get scratched easily. The screen is also protected with a Corning gorilla glass 3.It is heavy too.

Overall it is better than iPhone 5 and Samsung S5 but Galaxy S5 has a better camera and screen.
                                    Thanks for reading!
