Does anyone know if unlocked Droid Turbo has all that app (Amazon, Verison, etc.) preinstalled or is clear like unlocked for ex. Moto X?
How big is difference between screen Moto Maxx (OLED) and Droid Turbo (Super AMOLED)?

            New Droid Turbo, Lousy Experience
I tried uninstalling some of the bloatware that came on my new droid turbo. It seems that I uninstalled the "Amazon App", which uninstalls almost every other app on the phone.
Excuse me? Am I not paying you enough for this phone that you have to not only shove stuff up my nose but punish me when I try to avoid it?
Is a third party sponsoring the Apps this phone is advertised with?
One: I will go to the store and see if they can configure my phone without this "feature." If they cannot, the phone is staying with them.
Two: Verizon, you are morons. I tend to sympathize with business when it comes to regulation. With this behavior, you are painting a fluorescent cross hair on the industry. Fools.

Mike, 18 Dec 2014Phone is not how they represent it. Battery drains too too... more5 days is no way long enough to train your battery. If you charged it when it was 25% or higher than that was the issue, most people charge when it gets to about 50% if you do that then yes you battery will drain fast. It takes a good week of letting it run down to about 10% before charging. If you do that I know for a fact you will start to get 36 to 48 hrs of battery life only going down to about 25% after 36 hrs. If you did do that then you made the right decision. But the fact that you should get 48 hrs of average charge is true with this phone.

I know everyone should know this but the battery life really all depends on how you train it. It took my phone a week to really start to get the life as it state's. After letting it drain to less than 10% before charging for about 4 days the life was very poor, after training it for a week I now get about 48 hrs of fairly heavy use. If you returned the phone without trying this you made a terrible mistake. This phone is one of the best on the market at the moment. But it really boils down to personal preference. Don't return unless you have tried this and it still does not perform.

                      1. It has a very large battery. Much larger than many other devices. Also, the device is made with higher quality materials, and doesn't have your run-of-the-mill plastic housing. This means that the phone will be heavier than most phones. Battery accounts for much of the weight in a device.
                      2. With hands-free features like active display and moto voice, you can expect the battery to drain more rapidly when these features are active and in use. To minimize battery drain, turn off all hand-free and voice activated features through your settings.
                      3. Disabling any stock/bloatware apps you don't want to use can also reduce battery usage from apps that run in the background. For example, VZ Navigator can be disabled if you use Google Maps.
                      4. Motorola devices run an Android build that is very close to stock. This means that certain features that you would find on other devices, such as multi-window on Samsung devices, won't be native features on a Motorola device.

Just a few things to keep in mind when considering the Turbo. I've had one for a few weeks now, and so far, the good outweighs the bad. It truly depends on what you are wanting from your device.
