the phones gr8. only downside it can't share contacts & calenders like the Sony Ericsson's. The design is easy & sleek, sound is really good cos it's got 3D same as picture quality. option of expanding memory is gr8, Battery life not too good tho. But i'll score it 8/10

It's my favourite phone.I've just bought one and i'm not disapointed. I just feel sad about not having infrared port.To exchange files to phones w/o bluetooth,i must use another phone. Both cameras are nice, and the headphones plug is the universal one(jack). The screen is the best i've seen in a mobile phone. Greetz

erm.. the onli thing i am really not happy now is that the phone only allows you to play the mp3 files at 32 kbps.. while my friends E398 can play songs that is 192 kbps or higher.. when i consulted the motorola staff.. they said that the phone default is like that (32kbps).. but,if you wan play 192 kbps or higher mp3 songs. you can borrow a E398,transfer the 192 kbps to the E398 than to the E1000 via bluetooth.. after which there is no doubt that the E1000 speaker is very very good and clear..
Does anyone have other ways of transferring the MP3 songs without changing the KBPS to a lower KBPS your comments wIll be greatly apperciated..
ChEErs to mOtoRoLA.. ^_^

This phone seems to be better than moto v1050.But why the data speed is only 32-48 kbps?Since it is UMTS enable, data speed must have been 384 Kbps, isn't it?Or is just a typographical mistake?

To Insider
If u r really a Motorola worker, why u still working for them? U shd be shame being their employee...It's terrible to have such employee in a company. I am a Motorola user, the first time, currently using this E1000 model, the longer I use the more I like it and the battery life is better and better...It's a great phone with very reasonable price, great camera quality, work almost like digital camera especially in lighting place when u view it after transfer it to PC. Work well for 3G video conference, nice ringtone quality and many more... If u not really put an afford to manage well for a good phone dont insult it....u r insulting yourself instead...

I work for Motorola...we produce the worst phones in the world...never buy a phone from us it is the disgrace of the American tachnology especially as far as the customer service conserns...most of the times we will not repair faulty phones claiming that the handset has been misused. Be careful.

Anyone knows how to install themes and skins in this phone as it comes with no theme and only 1 (moto) skin. Also I would like to know if this phone records conversations and how to do so. Mine has a i9 icon in the right top button that does not get off even after I changed the function of this button.
