hai,
i like this model because it is cheap if u compare to the other phone with the same features.after using for 8 mths , my phone give me a lot of problem which untill now they don't know how to solve the problem. they have been changes the electronic board for 3 time and the problem still there. anyone of u have the same problem with me.

GOOD NEWS!..
the FM Radion really do exist on our fone!.. but first u most upgrade (modd) ur fone b4 to have this coooool application!.. although this menu can't be seen (hope someday this can be done clean!) this would only function f u'll attach a radio headset (motorola--need more research--). although i haven't try this yet since i wasn't able to buy 1 (radio headset) but alot of ppl already enjoy this awesome stuff!...

Hi! anm2, it's simple ... that ur fone is not conected properly. Try to push a little towards back then it might work ... I have the same problems ... & it made me angry sometimes !

Can anybody tell why all the .3gp files are not played in this fone ? I downloaded some .3gp file fm web, while try to play, says file is curupted !

yeh.. agen, wen i plug in ma usb cable, sometimes nothing happens.. neither phone nor comp. says nething :s its only wen i play around with the connection a little it says that device malfunctioned... i need to get this thing workin :S

hey guys.. need some help.. ma E398 givin me trouble with both the charger and the usb cable. with charger, havin trouble keepin connection.. with usb cable, the comp. says that the device has malfunctioned, and is not seeing the phone :S HELP PLZ!

People, why da hell some pictures that i have received from anothers phones are locked. i can't download them to the pc, can't send to other people's fones.. nothing. But another pictures i can... ( pictures from other phones , too )

hmmm... better call the motorola service center w/ regardz to this.. f it would b okay to change it's firmware (mayb hijacked, or the original-- but i prepare hijacked)...
it would also b ok to upgrade ur fone but thru ur own risks.. but f there's any problem u can flash again the firware w/c ur fone has now. but first make backup.

Yes, i have still warrany, but how to prove this. It's not always. If i try to show how the message appear "Picture capture failed" it's not sure that the message will appear, but there is a big possibility. What to tell them if the message doesn't appear. (Sorry for my bad English).

f that's the case, then better bring it back to the Motorola Service Center for replacement.. it's better to have the fully functional original fone... but do u still have the warranty?..
since f we try to make some modification then our back would still be defective (not fully function) as what u have now...
it's all i can suggest..

I HAve a big problem. Why the hell sometimes when i try to snap an image with my e398, the gsm "tells me": "Picture Capture Failed" ???? Any ideq?

these things need some research & for u to understand while modding ur fone... & to prevent from making ur fone "dead" (not totally dead!)..

Can anyone tell me where to upgrade the video recording for E398? How many KB can it store one thousand pictures and can it last for twelve hours of music before battery goes flat. Can it transfer a 6MB of MP3 file? PLEASE TELL ME NOW BECAUSE I AM BUYING IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
