Overpriced

Anonymous, 22 Apr 2020So between this and Nokia 8.3 5g, which will you choose, and whyThe answer is… Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G!

Reason? Price (350 euros), screen and performance (same Snapdragon 765G).

Really, Mororola Edge would have had to be 400 euros, 450 at most, to be competitive.

No OIS, no USB 3.x, 765G at the price where e.g. OnePlus 8 has all of these with 865...

I like flat scree, price is little bit higher. Mi 10 youth or nokia 8.3 might be good choice.

Anonymous, 22 Apr 2020So between this and Nokia 8.3 5g, which will you choose, and whyWell Motorola Edge has few better things than Nokia 8.3 5G.. Moto edge comes with amoled display while 8.3 still has outdated LCD screen.. Battery will definitely gonna be better on Moto Edge.. Also I like the design of Moto Edge. The phone looks soo beautiful.. My first impression is positive for Motorola Edge but before deciding over 8.3 and edge, I'll wait for reviews

No OIS.. :( it would be a dream phone ..

I preffer slim phones. I hope that, after many years of companies trying to make slimmer phones, the trend won't be —somewhat— reversed, just for the sake of shoving bigger batteries in phones.

Spanky, 20 Apr 2020I don't understand why Motorola releases such thick phones.... moreThere is no issue with a thick phone, it gives it more structural stability, and their recent phones have had large batteries.

I don't understand why Motorola releases such thick phones. At the time I'm writing this, Motorola Edge's dimensions have not yet been revealed, but it's pretty obvious from the leaked photos that the phone is going to have ~8.5-9mm. You can approximate this by comparing the size of the 3,5 mm audio jack to the thickness of the frame.

Most manufacturers are trying to make devices slimmer (under 8 mm), yet even Motorola's low-mid-range phones, which have smaller chips and batteries, average at 9 mm thickness. Or, maybe they take the main camera's bump into consideration, too? I know it's not a huge difference, but it is noticeable when you hold the devices in the hand.

                                just like Zte Axon 11 with Sd765 & doesn't come with sd865
& also Lg for new year doesn't have any schedule to use Sd865
motorola after sd835 in moto z3...doesn't used sd845,855,855+,865 in any phone
moto edge+ just like moto z4 force with sd855 it just illusion

It is a good looking phone, and if there will be a red color too, then good job Motorola! Oh and I hope the camera quality will be at least as good as the One Plus 8.

So many comments about "small" battery, 4500mAh is pretty good one, I've got Galaxy A71 (SD730 8nm, 4500mAh battery) and battery last very long, I had Mi Note 10 with 5000+ mAh battery, but because of bad optimizations on MIUI, it barely lasted day.
