Potential Buyers, 17 Dec 2020Any updates on the display issues? Does anyone have a newer... moreI am on my 3rd motorola edge plus because of the screen issues. I demanded a new phone each time because I did not pay over 1000.00 for a refurbished phone. So now the 3rd one is having the same issues . I requested a different model this go around because I don't want to keep doing this. Not only did they refuse but will inly send me a refurbished phone. I will never buy a motorola again. Never had issues with any of the 5 Samsung I have owned. DO NOT BUY THE MOTOROLA EDGE PLUS!

My device is manufactured in September and the screen has no issues. I love this device. The form factor is perfect and the overall experience is great. My favourite phone of 2020 ( only the cam is not the best)

honestly if you have a phone with a 90hz refresh rate is hard to go back to 60hz for another hour or two of batery life.

That is correct, there has been a software update about 2 weeks ago and I have contacted tech support, the girl that answered did not have a clue of what I was talking about, I have mentioned her that there was an option under settings, screen to change between 60 Hz, 90 Hz and Auto and this was removed from the menu, and after checking with their colleagues, she said that Motorola has decided to set the refresh rate in a fixed rate of 90 Hz.

Anonymous, 26 Nov 2020the edge I got recently does not have the option of changin... moreYes, Motorola removed the feature to change screen refresh rate to avoid the green tint screen issue and to fix the issue, there is so much technical stuff behind that but I can confirm that it actually works, it fixed the starting green tint on my phone and is now fixed to 90 hz witch in my opinion is the way to use the phone (we're paying that)

I think there was a very recent update pushed by Moto to remove it. can someone double check this. The screen is fine.

I have this phone for about a month now, it's been a great experience with its 90 hertz refresh rate, the screen colors are great and the blacks are true blacks, I compare it with my Mi Note 10 Lite that I have and you can see the difference, also the battery can last for ever and can go for over 10 hours of screen on time, flawless performance. Excellent phone with just to cons, one is the case that is not on par with the quality of the phone and the other is the battery charger that is very slow even though I'm using the 30 w of the Mi Note 10 Lite charger, because of that I can say that it's a 9/10.
