Normally it will receive 2 major software updates and 3 years of security updates. That is the minimum for any mid-ranger nowadays. When it will receive this updates is another discussion. Usually Motorola is slow when it comes to updates.
Not everybody buys phones only for software updates though. Also, if you have inferior hardware (cough cough Galaxy A53), no software updates will help that chipset in 2-3 years time. So basically, you will have 4-5 years of software updates for nothing.

This is probably the best high mid-range phone to date IMO.
It's perfect for people who want a phone that's very easy to hold. It's very thin, very lightweight, and the display is more compact (6.5 as opposed to 6.7) This makes it feel extremely comfortable and elegant in the hand, unlike other phones of this size.
Additionally the 50/50mp camera combo is a win. Most likely using identical sensors. This makes for consistent camera quality when switching between lenses.

Using this phone from 20 days,battery isnt the big issue but the phone warms when we perform any task,and heats up alot when playing pubg,i feel so and because of that sometimes app opening and other tasks also gets slow,is it happening in my device only or you guys are also facing the same,and the megapixel numbers about the camera are also just numbers,better go for iqoo neo6 with alot of great features like battery mah,charger,processor camera and design..not satisfied with this phone.

Hi, is it better than s20 fe 5g? As displays are same, only this doesn't have wireless/reverse charging and IP 68 protection.

I've got it 2 weeks ago. charging every 3 days. 5G is disabled. For me it is good enough. It is fast with good screen and only 6.8 mm (excluding the cameras Island). As 6.5 display and light design I do prefer it against "the bricks" on the market.

i own a edge 30, only -ve i felt is battery... drains very fast while using mobile data... with in 2 hours around 35% of battery drained... apart from that i love my new phone... its gud...
