Anonymous, 01 Apr 2023What's wrong with the haptics.? They don't feel too premium when compared to phones like iPhone and Edge 40 Pro for example. I'd put them in the same league as Poco X5 Pro or Samsung S21's haptics. Sure they're good and strong, but there is a little bit of tightness missing. In any case it is leagues ahead of similar priced phones like Galaxy A54's haptics.

Received the android 13 update here in India last week for this phone. Motorola certainly needs to step up its update game.
Otherwise, this phone's UI is one of the smoothest I have seen - I have OnePlus 11 5G too, which is a great phone, but Moto's refresh rate at 144 hz is just mind blowing. Even Youtube and Google Photos scroll at 140 hz making it smooth as silk. Performance wise, its great too with SD 888+ and handles daily tasks very easily. RAM management is also good.
I don't use this phone for camera, hence, don't worry about it. Else, the camera is just about average.

Just got yesterday the notification to upgrade to A13 on Moto Edge 30 Fusion. UK bought, from Moto's own website.

Got very disappointed with this phone, The battery drains fast and there are some bugs in android. I can't connect to wifi at my job. Because it has WPA2 security, at home when i'm connected at my own wifi, Google meet has some sound lag.
I didn't want to do it but I have to review my options, but Motorola is at the bottom. mainly because this is a upper end device.

I´m a moto edge 30 ultra user....They don´t care about support. Buy Moto if you don´t care about this and you have a tight budget only.
if you value stock vanilla go for a Pixel instead

Some good news - Edge 30 Fusion got Android 13 AER validation this month (April 2023). It means it's just the matter of time when Motorola will start to send update to retail models - I guess probably late May.

Very late ,Android 13 rollout 9 months before but still in 12,,, Android at this stage i thik Android 14 will get in 2027,very same for moto speed for update

Rest things like call quality, display everything is better than the price of phone. Go for it

Purchased this phone 12 GB RAM version, good phone but slightly dissappointed as it lacks 5 basic functions - No speed dial, no built-in App lock, no support for App twin/clone, no functionality to disconnect hotspot when set limit is reached & no scroll/long screenshot

- Do you prefer iOS or Android
- Do you need a telephoto lens (30 Fusion doesn't have)
- Do you need IP68 (30 Fusion doesn't have)
If not, then this phone is pretty solid.

After seeing edge 40 leaks. Edge 30 looks better in all aspects.

Can anyone test transfer rates (read/write) and confirm that Edge 30 Fusion has USB 3.1 version? In the review from GSMarena they say that there is only a USB 2.0 controller (page 2 of the review).
