How are the viewing angles with a white background? I currently have a Pixel 5 and I can't stand its poor viewing angles with Light mode enabled. You can clearly see a bluish tint when you look at it a bit from the side (cooler temperature).
And how is the GPS module? According to some reviews, the GPS module is very inaccurate...

Just for 2... moreYou forgot to add: a very good battery time (and really fast charging), nice sound quality (Dolby) and many interesting features like tracking your eyes while reading, movement ignited light, double tap on back function, wrist photo, +2 GB ram, ready pc etc. It has no too bright display (it has option of more dimming for night plus black & white mode), night photos are good for this class... Agree, for under 300 € this phone is still a winner in 2023. Especially if you are looking for cheap but good compact.

Can someone mention a suitable gcam for Edge 30 Neo ? I downloaded three different but in some front cam doesnt work, some have trouble with video mode.

Raja, 22 Sep 2023Is it Gorilla display?Yes. It has poled 10-bit display (1B colors) above 1000 nits with gorilla glass protection. I dont know why gsmarena here didnt mention that. All other sites did.

So got this phone and i am positively impressed. Just for 275€ this phone offers all what a normal user needs.
Pros / Plus
- Very light weight and compact (i want to bid goodbye to any screen above 6.3")
- Excellent screen and responsive touch
- Notification light around camera
- Fast Charger (68W)
- Comes with hard case (though i dont like to use phones with case or protector)
Cons / Negatives
- Fingerprint reader under display is a bit too low, sometimes one mistakenly closes the app while signing off something.
- Low light photography very poor.
- No 3.5mm jack
- The screen at its lowest brightness is still too bright (for night time).
Overall i can say no other phone beats this one for a price tag of under 300€.

I was going to order Edge 40 to replace my g82 but then the second SIM module being eSIM put me off. So i ordered Edge 30 Neo instead, also to enjoy the smaller size and less weight. Anxiously waiting to see if the experience with Edge30Neo is same smooth as i had with g82 (they share same chipset and have same benchmark scores).
Only downside i see here is lack of 3.5mm jack (yes i still think its necessary sometimes). However luckily there is a workaround to that by using USB-C to 3.5mm adapter so not a big deal.

Please add specs: Edge 30 Neo has Gorilla glass, p-oled 1B colors high dci-p3, peak over 1000 nits, it's splash resistant and sound is tuned with Dolby Atmos. Yes, I know you are afraid of big players, but learn to deal with it. This phone is great budget device.

So light and screen 📺 nice .I love how feather light it is . People are forgetting why a phone is a phone 📞 not a pc lol. Charge up in a hot minute .
