Unfortunately, I had not a good experience with this "high gamma" cellphone, the photos with the front camera have not good quality, seems like with a filter and pixeled. The sound of the video is satured, in a concert for example.

Been using Edge 30 Pro for some time, but then I returned to Samsung A52s.
- RAM: 6GB RAM vs 12GB RAM: I haven't noticed any visible advantage over A52s.
- ROM: 128GB vs 256GB: Again no advantage. Don't store music on my phone, I use a streaming service. Always move photos away from my phone to my computer. So why anyone really needs more than 64-128GB on the phone?
- CPU: Newer processor on Edge 30 Pro seems underused, and the OS is way too unoptimized. So no visible advantage over A52s.
- UI/OS: Edge 30 Pro comes with a "cleaner" Android, but slaps their own shitty add-ons like Moto Display, Moto Gestures, Moto Discovery... I found no good use case for them. Samsung's Android version is much more polished, and feels like a good re-skinning of vanilla Android. Also another important feature: Always-On Screen is missing from Edge 30 Pro. Even low-cost Xiaomis offer Always-On screen, but not this overpriced Motorola.
- Security: Samsung offers 3 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches. My A52s is already on Android 13, and they've fixed a lot of things, mainly bad WiFi reception, while its unclear if Moto will ever offer updates for their phones.
- Camera: I've made some pictures, didn't notice any large difference in quality. Megapixel count means nothing without proper post-processing, which is more important than the image sensor. Light sensors in our eyes are shitty biological arrays with less than a few megapixels, but it's our brain's neural nets that make seeing things clear and sharp. That's why Google Pixel and Apple phones make the best pictures while having average cameras. And because Motorola's software is just average, it doesn't matter how many megapixels it has, it still makes photos look like made with a $150 phone.
- Charging speed: doesn't matter. I charge my phone while sleeping, so it always has at least 5-6 hours to fully charge.
- Sound: A52s has a 3.5mm headphone jack, Moto doesn't. Winner is clear. I don't want to use wireless headphones and constantly think if my headphones are charged or not, it's bullshit.
- Battery: Edge 30 Pro I have to charge in my car when I go home from work, it drops from 100% in 8:00 to 55% at 16:00. A52s is at 70% at 16:00 even after 1.5 year of use and always-on screen. A52 wins, it has better battery management.
- Protection: A52s wins, IP68 protection, can be immersed or washed in water. Edge 30 Pro has no water protection.
For me, this Motorola has no reason to exist. Why they make such phones? It is too expensive for not offering anything substantial over competitors. Going to sell it while I can still get a good price, and buy a Pixel.

Motorola Edge 30 Pro is a brlliant premium smart phone. The design of the handset it superb from the right dimensions to the quality material with a thin form. Doesn't feel overweight in your hand. Inside of the phone it's a pretty clean android experience, few Motorola add ons to complicate things. I love it and highly recommend moving from iphone or Samsung even I moved from OnePlus. Confident Motorola will only better this device.

- 393 ppi screen. Should be near 500 ppi.
- better gorilla glass in the back vs front, why?. This should be victus or near victus at least in the front.
In a phone near of this price is unacceptable. For this price you should consider a Zenfone 8 or 9, you may pay a little bit more, but is a huge difference.
My 5 year old phone has 5xx ppi, and gorilla glass 5. (Nokia 8)

I'd love to see a long-term test of this phone, because it's a really good phone against the competition that it has here in Argentina, but i'm seeing way too much "mixed-bag" users opinions of it. How is it going with de main issue about some apps-crash?

Now they have improved the camera application, and you can record videos with 60 frames at 4k resolution, with the rear camera. It would be nice if they also add 60 frames per second in the front camera.

I tried it, it's an excellent phone. Open super fast the most demanding applications. Take amazingly low-light photos with both the rear and front cameras. It comes with the adapter cable to connect it to the TV, and turn it into a PC, and that's wonderful. Every month it is updated, (receiving the update patches of June, July, August, September, October and November 2022). It comes with clean Android 12, it rushes for extra speed, compared to brands that add blotware, which slows down. It only needs to be optimized through some update, the stabilization of the camera, in the recording of videos, but it is still acceptable, and some improvement in the manual configuration of the camera. It is up to the s22 ultra, but at half its price. Great, that it brings class 3 Gorilla Glass glass, because it is the one that scratches the least, I experienced this last thing, with my old Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Edge phone, which comes with Gorilla Glass 3, and while the Galaxy Note 4 , brought gorilla class 4, and the S7 edge, brought Gorilla Glass 5, were noticeable, vulnerable to scratches, and this was not the case with the Gorilla class 3. The battery fully charges in half an hour.

The cell phone does not have the wireless charging capacity at 15w (the real one is between 3w and 5w, it takes 4:30 to charge). The fingerprint sensor works terrible! The camera after the last update takes photos with excess brightness (a lot). The worst phone I have bought to date. The wireless charging hardware problem is a Motorola scam, it strikes me that no one else is complaining because there is no edge 30 pro in the world that charges at 15W.
It also has problems when calls are answered, every so often they cannot be answered. Very bad phone, I will never buy a Motorola product again, I will return to Xiaomi.

I have stop using this phone after the recent update I was facing issue app are crashing it was showing ram is full thats the reason of app crashing. I did check online. I got some tips to do factory reset removed most of apps still facing this issue. In the end I I did another reset and started as new phone. Now I am trying to sell this phone online it's one week no messages. I am doing this some time I will buy new smartphone after few months I will post online in classified websites and sell it. The phone was good fast charging gets heats up but the only reason to sell after this issue I face of app crashing.

I have 2 issues
Issue 1
While connecting call through wired headphones the sound is way less. If you're in a average sounding environment you canhear the other side.
Issue 2
While opening banking apps sometimes it's not asking for biometrics it straight opens up the app.

Yes, you need this phone it is just as good as the moto e just a tad bit faster charge and more storage still has the same slowness and freezes just as often but 10/10 would recommend to my grandma

I cannot get over Motorola using Gorilla Glass 3 on the display of this thousand dollar phone. It boggles my mind that this "Flagship" phone uses a plastic frame and GG3.
What kind of reputation does Motorola want?
Unless Motorola can explain these design decisions, it looks like my final Motorola phone will be my Moto Edge 5G (2020).
