Yes go for this one compared to edge x30. This DOESN'T heat like that phone. I've yet to see this phone overheat. Even hdr extreme this stays below 50 degrees. Best value phone so far.

If you see specs of both phones, this one has 200mah less battery still a bit heavy. Why? Because they put better passive cooling. Same reply to the vince guy.

BTW all moto phones from OG G series have some sort of water resistant nano coating, they just don't bother about certification cost anymore.

why should I buy this instead of the Edge 30X? The only difference seems to be wireless charging - not worth the upcharge. What am I missing?

After watching a YouTube video about this phone, I noticed how high the buttons of this thing are, ridiculous, it's most likely what OnePlus was back in 2014-2018, I'm not gonna call it a flagship killer, it's just a cheap phone with great performance, fast charging, 144Hz display, and USB 3.1, but it doesn't kill any flagship in the overall package...
