I have just replaced my Samsung S22 Ultra (£1012) with a Motorola Edge 30 Ultra (UK official retail price £749.99). What a magnificent cellphone the Motorola is! I compared the display of both using exactly the same hi-res picture and laying them side by side, found the quality of the Motorolas display to be far sharper. Besides charging, the Motorolas Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is a lot faster than the Exynos CPU in the S22 Ultra.
Someone mentioned the battery life - remember you are talking about 2 different composition batteries, li-ion and li-po. The Motorola uses a 4600mAh li-po battery and 125W charger and the Samsung uses a li-ion battery with no supplied charger for the 45W max charging speed. You can charge the Motorolas battery from 0% to 100% in under 35 mins and get a full day's charge in under 10 minutes! Li-po batteries are a lot more expensive and used mainly on high end electronic devices!
In my opinion, owning a Motorola Edge 30 Ultra makes me think it is currently one of the finest cellphones on the market.
BTW I also own a OnePlus 10 Pro and 9 Pro, a Pixel 6 Pro and a Huawei P30 pro. I'm a bit of a cellphone geek and tend to go for the brand flagships.

Anyone living in the US already have it? They still do not have it on the website of motorola de usa, why is this phone not in the united states???

I hate the curved screen, but the pixel 7 pro will also have it, if the latter ends up not liking me, I will definitely go with this bike

Everything seems very nice on the phone spec.
Except one. To me, the most important one
Waterproof Rating is too bad.
As a flagship, waterproof is a must to me.
When even Oneplus put that on their top of line, Motorola should had done it.
I was gonna switch to this phone from my Oneplus, but nope.... No waterproofing.

Let's compare it to high end sports cars or superbikes, do you "need" 600hp (or 200 in case of a motorcycle)? No, you don't use it in 99% of situations, but it's nice to know you have it if you are in situation you need it or want to use it.
Oh and this is coming from somebody who personally doesn't care if I use wireless or wired headphones and is fine with cloud storage.

I remember owning Moto L7 and L7e back in the day later got the V3 and have used many from droid and moto x series same goes for the other brands, I think these brands should be supported by us consumers instead of just keeping it Samsung,Apple. Edge 30U is a very compelling device from Moto in a long while
