These features that people are complaining about, they were not gimmicks, but they were kind of indispensable in their era. Those features were reliable and were responsible for making the usage of phones easier for most people. No one's complaining about not having pop up cameras or telephoto lenses or ultra fast charging. They are complaint about basic things. It was the jack first, then the card, they have now removed the charger as well. At this rate, we don't know what they're going to remove next and one day it will be a feature they remove that you will complain about because it will matter to you.

That's not the case with the UFS soldered to the PCB. I do kinda wonder why people don't just use USB OTG drives on these types of phones though.

If you don´t care about updates (at all) the edge 30 is yet stuck on android 12...

My gosh all these guys talk about is microSD and the 3.5mm headphone jack, it's annoying. If you want both of these then consider a budget entry level or older flagship.

you're lucky to be writing with 30mb/s with a high quality microsd card..
