The Moto Edge 40 Neo has launched at ₹20,999 (~$253) for 8+128GB and ₹22999 (~$277) for 12+256GB here in India. And for that price, it quite an impressive, well packaged device. Though, if only some tweaks were made, this phone could have been practically perfect honestly!

I would personally have it this way:
144Hz --> 120Hz
IP68 --> IP55
12GB --> 8GB
Dimensity 7030 --> Dimensity 7200
UFS2.2 --> UFS3.0
50MP Omnivision OV50A --> 64MP Samsung GW3
Price: ₹22999 (~$277) for 8+256GB 👌

          Anonymuss, 26 Sep 20233.5mm jack absent... Pass!Absolutely Agree! Don't understand why companies are eliminating the ubiquitous 3.5mm jack. It comes in as a very useful feature. This is the only factor which is stopping me from going for this phone.

                BMHater12, 14 Sep 2023Asus debunked that, why are you still believing on this? I don't believe. My comment was written before ASUS posted their answer. It's 👍 I wish them success.

                  1) GSMArena camera part review of NEO was weird! I just looked at the daylight photos from the main 50mp sensor and they looked very natural real to life on my screen. Makes me wonder if they had been from some flagship phone or Nothing 2 maybe only praise had been coming of how nice and natural they look?
                  2) More weirdness! Then I looked on review page 5 and especially went to that excellent "photo comparison tool" and shock'n'horror🤯 how dull and colourless photo looked there compared to Edge 40! Look there at the red colour on the tomato (up in the middle beside carrot) etc and see how red looks more brown than red and carrot isn't orange but nearly yellow! So there seems to be something very wrong with photos from main camera output since Edge 40 photos looks totally different and much better.
                  3) But now we will not know if AI ON at camera settings had changed everything to lively colourful results, because GSMarena never mentions what settings they use while taking daytime photos. Which is a bummer. Now I'm just left confused 🤔 and disappointed 🫤

But unfortunately it's a fact that not enough people want to buy a compact phone. It has to do with what phones are nowadays used for, mostly Instagram, TikTok, Netflix YouTube etc. And then everything just looks bigger and better on a bigger screen. YouTube's mrwhosetheboss even made a video about this matter and explained why compact phones aren't selling much. For me the sweet spot is actually this 6.55" and with minimal bezels like on Motorola Edge 40 and this Edge 40 NEO it's not a big phone in hand and feels lightweight too.

                        justasmile, 24 Sep 2023Just get a samsung a54. its processor is better than this, ... moreIts processor may be marginally better on paper, but Samsung's despicable one ui makes all of its budget phones absolutely infuriating to use. I would prefer Motorola just for the clean bog-free Android experience, even if the SoC is slightly weaker. The overall experience and usability of the device is far superior to Samsung's budget M and A series phones. [I have owned multiple Samsung phones throughout my life, with varying versions of both touchwiz and oneui, the latest being the Galaxy M21. I have also owned a Nokia 5.1 Plus and am currently using a Motorola Edge 20 Fusion, and can confidently say that both the stock android devices have provided me with a virtually lag-free, near out-of-the-box user experience for 2+ years, while the Samsungs would feel very sluggish for even the most basic of tasks mere weeks after purchasing.]

"
                                    The pictures added show the android desktop expanded on an external screen( not in the middle of a windows desktop and not on a big monitor)
