That's only partially true.
You mean if you pick an expensive wired headphone.
People here don't choose expensive ones, and there are many durable midrange bluetooth headphones available.
But what I don't like about bluetooth is it's somewhat inconvenient.
I think that manufactures should have just kept headphone jack and let people choose instead of forcing them to move on.

With that being said, it's still not attractive enough, like it doesn't look like anything special other than having flagship processor inside.

I don't know why everyone is crying about Edge phones, I have a moto edge 40 Pro, and it's a beast in every way. I prefer it over overrated s23 ultra. So many advances are on side 40 Pro - ram, display, weight, useful features, battery life of 1.5 days...

If they could make charging ports water proof they can make ear piece ports--phone manufacturers just aren't kind at all to us and it is annoying

Wired headphones are better quality and longer lasting than wireless. My set of wireless has halved their battery life in less than a year. Although they still last 3 hours, that's half what they were originally. Even 6 hours isn't long enough on a flight to Australia etc.
The Bluetooth connection also fails/resets every few hours resulting in a loss of sound for a few sec before it pauses the video/music as it resets the connection. You need to press play again for it to continue playing (this may be to check you there/awake feature, but it didn't exist on wired headphones and interrupts viewing).
"Anyone can charge battery when needed" just because anyone can do it doesn't mean its not a problem. It still takes time and requires you to be near a charger. Simply not possible when out and about and isn't needed on wired headphones.
MicroSD is not obsolete! There is nothing that does the same job with superior ability. They have simply been phased out because it didn't suit manufacturers to allow us to move memory between phones. They would much rather sell us new inbuilt memory every time we buy a phone. I agree UFS 4.0 and 512GB is great. It doesn't replace a SD card though, as i cant transfer it or use it in other devices quickly and easily. You seem only to be seeing it as "memory" rather than portable memory.
"When card breaks it cant be fixed". Nor can in-built memory. However when a card breaks it can be replaced, easily, quickly, cheaply without taking the phone to bits. It hasnt turned your £200 phone into a brick like the inbuilt memory breaking would.
You clearly dont realise other people may not use their phone in the same way you do.

I don't think it ever will.... Moto has one of the worst support policies and they take forever delivering it. They will update this phone to android 15 (eventually) with little intention of improving it but just to deliver it's promise...
This exactly why I won't touch again on any moto , after being a loyal fan for years....a shame , they really improve a lot their latest phones and this one is good

Find the edge 40 pro model and the forum is (my phones keeps freezing) and it has at least 100 people talking about it in like 30 pages of website
They fixed the problem so there is no need to worry about it now if you wanna buy the last years model

I remember the Edge 30 Ultra had issues with the ambient light sensor, it completely misbehaved going up and down, hurting end user eyes...In the end i sold the phone.
Now using a flip 5 samsung, but i really hope to return to Moto as soon as they give users evidence that they care about their customers and provide proper support to their phones...

You can buy it now and has no problem but fixing the problem took 5 months 🙄
