I think the device is now working fine after the android 14 update
At least there have been no reports for the users who previously complained about the device shutting off by itself
Of so looks like a really great choice

Available in Romania too, not many changes, mostly UI and under the hood. Camera seems a bit slower autofocusing now...

Guys i read the lenovo forum and xda one too
This phone has a BIG BIG problem in EU and south American batch
I really wanted to buy this phone but im so scared of it now
I'll wait 2 weeks and see what happens but for now PLS DON'T GO NEAR THIS PHONE
Btw i have a motorola edge 20 and fortunately it has no problem..... It had a touch issue at first but it's working smoothly for 1.5 years........ I hope. Edge 40 pros problem gets fixed...... I really enjoy the simplicity of motorola but if it's gonna play with me and my daily life that's a no go for me

i dont know why people who bought this phone are disappointed with it because im really happy but the battery life has a serious problem when you are gaming other than that its amazing when o first bought it there were some glitches like me giving the app permission to my location but the app saying that i didnt but it all got fixed in a software update and the 165hz screen on this is amazing the only negative things that i see in this phone are 1 not okay battery life and 2 slow software updates but other than those i recommend! for 550 euros definetely amazing!

Be careful with Motorola.
I owned four Motorola phones, the last of them were G100 and Edge 30. After the first major Android update all of them had serious bugs that made the phone unusable.
The G100 had the known ghost touch problem where it would just have random ghost touches every milisecond, changing settings, opening apps randomly by itself. The only way to stop it was to turn off the display quickly. When turned back on, everything worked fine.
The Edge 30 dropped out of 4G/5G network and WIFI randomly, even if it showed full connection it wouldn`t load anything.
After a factory reset didn`t help and the problem came back, I wanted to smash both of them against a wall. I couldn`t even sell them because no one wants to buy a used Motorola phone. Together both phones cost me the price of a flagship. Now they are electronic trash that I keep in my drawer. Never again Motorola. Save your money and buy something solid...

I really do think they are slowly abandoning OS support or they don´t have enough resources so the OS is poorly optmized. I really do hope that Moto (Lenovo) invest more time on this rather than silly Pantone Colors

Hello, I found this forum with many people whose phone turns off by itself. Has anyone had this problem? Has it been solved? I have not found the cause of the problem anywhere, and it is a shame because the cell phone seemed very good

It doesn´t matter to have the better hardware if the software is not fully optimized and you don´t get a good experience overall. That is exactly why I stop being a user of Motorola high end devices.
Their support is worse than rubbish, with a huge delay on delivering Os updates, let alone fixing any of reported bugs.
Yes I consider an upgrade because iOS user experience is one million years ahead any Android device.
And yes I´ve been a user of Android for more than a decade with different brands, so I can argue I have lots of experience of what Android was and what it is nowadays.
If you disregard my Edge 40 Pro and you trully want because you don´t care about user experience and rely only on specs and hardware (on paper at least) go ahead and get yourself a Motorola!
