It doesn´t matter to have the better hardware if the software is not fully optimized and you don´t get a good experience overall. That is exactly why I stop being a user of Motorola high end devices.
Their support is worse than rubbish, with a huge delay on delivering Os updates, let alone fixing any of reported bugs.
Yes I consider an upgrade because iOS user experience is one million years ahead any Android device.
And yes I´ve been a user of Android for more than a decade with different brands, so I can argue I have lots of experience of what Android was and what it is nowadays.
If you disregard my Edge 40 Pro and you trully want because you don´t care about user experience and rely only on specs and hardware (on paper at least) go ahead and get yourself a Motorola!

i ended up selling it and went straight to the iPhone 14 and it´s a joy using a great device again. Been a Moto user for more than a decade but now what used to be Motorola, it´s gone.
For G series it´s fine other than that avoid

I purchased this phone just four days ago, and I must admit that I'm quite disappointed with my experience so far. My primary concern revolves around its inability to connect with Android Auto using a USB A to USB C cable, a problem I've also encountered with the Razor 40 Ultra (a Friend of mine is having the same issue). Furthermore, the last software update was issued back in April 2023, and considering we're now in September, this is a considerable delay for a phone that was recently released.
One of the phone's notable features is its fast charging capability, which I appreciate. However, it's disheartening to see that this speed comes at the cost of rapid battery drainage. This unexpected drawback is particularly surprising for a flagship device from Motorola, a brand that typically prides itself on delivering top-notch performance.
In conclusion, while there are some positive aspects to this phone, such as its fast charging, the issues with Android Auto connectivity and battery life have left me feeling disappointed, especially considering the premium status of this device within Motorola's lineup.

Battery is insane...and i am very heavy user.
Best battery phone that i had, i tell you this Sd 8 Gen2 is amazing.
8+ hours of SoT easy.
Auto brightness works perfectly, maybe just 2 or 3 times in this 7 days i'm using it i had to manually adjust it.
Cameras are very good, night mode is very nice on the main one. UW very usable.
My phone is on august update so far.
Believe me, this one is a keeper.

Can anyone give an honest opinion regarding battery life wishing Data only?
How's auto brightness behaviour? Update record , which month are you? I'm using the 30 ultra but the auto brightness is faulty. Don't know if it's a software, I suspect it us.
I really like the phone , wouldn't mind loosing on camera but have an overall good phone and stay on Motorola

Just got one of these in the recent Lenovo UK deal for £480 and it's amazing. 165Hz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone for that price is just incredible.
