Battery is insane...and i am very heavy user.
Best battery phone that i had, i tell you this Sd 8 Gen2 is amazing.
8+ hours of SoT easy.
Auto brightness works perfectly, maybe just 2 or 3 times in this 7 days i'm using it i had to manually adjust it.
Cameras are very good, night mode is very nice on the main one. UW very usable.
My phone is on august update so far.
Believe me, this one is a keeper.

Can anyone give an honest opinion regarding battery life wishing Data only?
How's auto brightness behaviour? Update record , which month are you? I'm using the 30 ultra but the auto brightness is faulty. Don't know if it's a software, I suspect it us.
I really like the phone , wouldn't mind loosing on camera but have an overall good phone and stay on Motorola

Just got one of these in the recent Lenovo UK deal for £480 and it's amazing. 165Hz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone for that price is just incredible.

It will be great if just for once Motorola act like Apple or Samsung specially for it's high-end devices, keep the same design(with minor physical changes) and improve everything else like chipset thermal behavior, camera performance and software support (the recent software update policy is good for me, but it's just for flagships).
In my opinion the Edge 40 pro is a solid phone but needs a lot better camera quality (at least use 3x telephoto with way better quality).

Then set the frame rate to automatic in settings. And finally go to the downloaded app find in the code lines min refresh rate and peak refresh rate (i hope in edge 40 is the same but 30 pro are that) and replace both numbers to "90". Optional: Wait for Android 14 update xD

I have a certain question regarding automatic refresh rate. I want to know if swiping around will always stay at 120hz and when not swiping around if it will dial down to 60hz no matter the brightness setting. I also want to know if there's any flicker when it switches from 120hz to 60hz. Since i own edge 30 ultra anything below 20% brightness it will be stuck at 90hz and I can notice that it flickers for a second when it dials from 120hz to 60hz and vice versa.

I have iphone and I dont update regularly. S22+ has good update but hardware there are battery drain and camera issue, while s23 get overclock gen2 but antutu show scrore behind moto gen2. Hardware more important
