This phone has everything I need. Great fast screen with good sound for media, good battery life and charge time, clean and useful os and even esim. For a midrange phone this is probably the best I've used in many years. Reminds me of when Huawei was popular. Camera is also very good in most light conditions. This phone has put my pixel 8a to shame because it feels much nicer to use. If you get this on sale like i did there is no question about it. Amazing phone for its price. I also game some LoL wild rift, diablo immortal and tgc pocket. Good performance and battery life, and it charge up in under an hour.

This has nothing to do with the "last say" but with common sense.

Ok, here's the thing.
When I put the phone on the table and the screen's off, it randomly turns on and off again.
This is VERY annoying, especially at nights. Tried everything yet nothing helps.
Is there a solution to prevent the display from randomly turning on?

To be fair, I have never misunderstood your point, more that I didn't care enough (and if you'd say the same, then touché). I am free to say whatever was in my mind at that very moment I made that initial comment, and to be fair, it was still somewhat related. Whether or not I "hijacked" your comment is up to the GSMarena mods. I didn't realize this discussion needed closure, but sure, goodbye.

NeonHD, 03 Dec 2024It is only confusing for you because you did not understand... moreHonestly, i think you should have not replied to my initial comment in any shape or form, if you were trying to make a point unrelated to the 50 Fusion. That is purley highjacking my comment and steering it in your own direction. While I accept your point of view on the SD 888, you have (inadvertantly) missed the point of my original post, which was a reply to a comparision between Fusion 50 and Fusion 30. So trying to confront me and prove you point through "you dont understand" is hands-down inappropraite, given the fact your reply to my comment is out of place to start with. Actually you are not even disussing 50 Fusion in your comments at all and this is a thread on the 50 Fusion. Your comment would have been better placed if you had made it in the 30 Fusion section; So to sum it up, you have already started on the wrong foot but you are suggesting that I am the one who "doesn't understand". This is simply flawed logic. With this in mind and no ill feelings, I do consider our conversation on the above subject to be concluded.

freelunch, 04 Dec 2024You mean it is selling at that price in Saudi Arabia?Indeed. MENA has the lowest average prices for smartphones, and they tend to get updates earlier than the rest of the world (judging by Nokia and being early to adopt Android 14 on MENA market phones, and Apple seeding minor iOS updates frequently for their devices). You can refer to their online stores (not widespread, but still it's enough to get a general idea) for pricing.
Ironically, everything else is expensive for a typical middle class Asian person earning a measly, monthly income.

bork, 03 Dec 2024Now this is even more confusing. If my comment was not abou... moreIt is only confusing for you because you did not understand that I was making another point that is seperate from what you were talking about. My point was a bit more abstract and ambiguous in nature (I did mention "idea" a lot). I suppose not everyone understands what I truly meant.
Discussions do not necessarily have to relate with each other in a linear or even in a logical fashion, you realize this right?

I thought I made it very clear in my last comment that my opinion does not matter too much since the final decision is up to the buyer's preferences/priorities. But since we're on this topic, yes I don't really agree, but again this is because we value different things in a phone. Let me be clear again, your points are also not wrong, but regardless of which phone is the "better package", I think price will still be the biggest factor. Whichever is cheaper for the buyer may "win". I hope this also makes it clear.
P.S. If you just want my very general take, I think both phones are great in their own ways, and I think it's slightly unfair to discredit either one, not implying that you are. I've always been a fan of Motorola phones.
