Shits ass. Not gonna sugarcoat it. Motorola is going down in the dumps like Asus. They stopped supporting unlocking bootloader and only gives Zenfone, A FLAGSHIP, 2 OS upgrades. What savagery from both sides.

Now the 7s Gen 2 makes a lot more sense than the 6 Gen 1 would've, but it's still disappointing when the 2 year old Edge 30 Fusion with its Snapdragon 888+ is still better in every possible ways, except for its battery size and IP68 rating.
Both the Fusion and Pro using UFS 2.2 storage is also not a good look, it's excusable here but not on the Pro. Either way, price will decide the fate of this phone.

If this phone doesn't support headjack..because of the sole reason .I will eager to buy Moto Edge 50 Pro..Cause
It has decent hardware..under 30K
It comes with HelloUi with 3OS||4Secpatch
Since it is SD ,I can add Custom ROM for further use!
Also buying 50 edge Ultra just for SD8Gen3 ..it shows how inexperienced you are...+ It doesn't gives 4OS||5Sec patch😁

In return, the phone is lighter and slimmer. I wish more phones had the option of no wireless charging. Especially since having a case with a ring prevents using it anyways

So I am guessing 50 Fusion will be taking the place of 40 Neo? Better battery and screen protection but weaker SoC.

I hope this is announced later today. I believe it and the 50 Pro are to be announced, but not the vanilla or Neo models. I guess they'll release the cheaper models later on.

Absolute CONFusion, with This Motorola phones series. 50 pro and 50 fusion need to be on 8sd procesor. Edge 50 on 7sd g3, and 50 Neo on 7sd g1 or just 778g likely then 6sd g1. But something went wrong obviously. If edge 40 or 40 neo had a sd7 it will be the phone of year 2023 and 2024. Why Motorola made this decision? Is there someone to tell them what they are doing now. Who knows
