CamoGeko-XDA, 22 Sep 2024Yes it does, I can see esim options on my phone.Wow that's amazing. Thank you for letting me know. I think that feature is a big deal especially if you have to travel far.
May I ask how is the battery life and the cameras for you?

I have an Edge 50 Neo and it's a great mid range phone.

Torn between going for this @ INR 23K ($274) or the S23 @ INR 35K ($416) during the flipkart sale. Basically looking for a compact phone so my choices are narrowed down to only these two for now. Will be upgrading from my 3 years old Realme X7 max. What do you guys think?

Did you get the 50 neo yet? I'm still trying to decide and wait for a flash sale or some price drop.

Gino76ph, 20 Sep 2024And after all those things do you still find you have enoug... moreAs explained I'm not a hardcore user, I don't play any games.
Other example, today I unplugged my phone at 7am, had some phone calls, light WhatsApp chat and websurfing, I always check the time with my phone, it's syncing outlook and teams all day long on 5g, and I came home with 77% battery at 7pm.
It's now 10:30pm, I've been using it for more than 2.5 hours since I came back, it's at 52%.
I'm amazed by its efficiency, and despite the tiny battery, I trust it way more than the galaxy S24 whose main problem was a crappy modem.

Location services are on, so as Bluetooth often connected to earphones. Screen refresh rate is set on automatic and auto brightness is on. 5g activated.
I use Nova launcher prime with very light customisation, no big custom widgets draining battery.

Elio, 19 Sep 2024This phone or Xperia 10 VI?
Just need phone for internet b... moreI would say go for the Edge 50 Neo, it's an insane phone for the price. Especially if you care about better pictures and wireless charging. Also 5 years of software support is almost as good as Google and Samsung. Even though they won't be as speedy as those manufacturers.
I have the Poinciana colour Edge 50 Neo in 8GB/256GB configuration and it's so nice, after using huge phones like Samsung S23 Ultra this device feels like a revelation. The UI is far less bloated, it feels smooth like a Pixel but actually even better because not having Tensor heating up all the time.

Elio, 19 Sep 2024This phone or Xperia 10 VI?
Just need phone for internet b... moreIf you don't mind the hole in the screen and do not need MicroSD support or 3.5" headphone jack — go with the Neo.
LTPO screen + wireless charging + telephoto module at this price range is a great deal.
I'd go with the 12/512 version because it's a bit more future proof.
