Location services are on, so as Bluetooth often connected to earphones. Screen refresh rate is set on automatic and auto brightness is on. 5g activated.
I use Nova launcher prime with very light customisation, no big custom widgets draining battery.

Especially if you care about better pictures and wireless charging. Also 5 years of software support is almost as good as Google and Samsung. Even though they won't be as speedy as those manufacturers.

I have the Poinciana colour Edge 50 Neo in 8GB/256GB configuration and it's so nice, after using huge phones like Samsung S23 Ultra this device feels like a revelation. The UI is far less bloated, it feels smooth like a Pixel but actually even better because not having Tensor heating up all the time.

LTPO screen + wireless charging + telephoto module at this price range is a great deal.
I'd go with the 12/512 version because it's a bit more future proof.

The review has to be good, phone's being tested for 3 weeks now 😂

This phone or Xperia 10 VI?
Just need phone for internet browsing, occasional Youtube watching, photos and messaging.

Nikojas, 17 Sep 2024I think Nord 4 would be a good option too. A55 is too wide ... moreI hate chunky (wide) phones. I have a Moto G84 5G and i think it's the perfect size.
Nord 4 is an option. I'm just slightly worries about the metal body being wee heavy. And updates may not be as fast as Samsung such as those AI features which would be helpful like Circle To Search.

The Phone in Colors Poinciana looks very cool and it's a beauty!
Im regret because I pay money for 2 Samsung model. Because Moto have Android Stock with Now Hello Ui looks great and this phone have LTPO 6.36" display certified Pantone aluminum Frame.
                          Waste of money with Sammy!
                          Good job Moto!

For contrast, it beat the A55 in battery timing which is a phone known to have great battery life.

That 4nm chip is doing wonders here.

Wow!! Telephoto lens with OIS at this price? in a mid range phone? That's simply awesome!! One thing Samsung & other brands should learn from this company they're giving telephoto lens in almost all their phones unlike the crappy depth sensor or macro lens that most mid range phones offer these days.

Can you switch between ultrawide, wide and telephoto WITHOUT PAUSING/STOPPING the recording of 4K videos?

How is the night photo video quality?

Does the phone overheat while recording 4K videos for a long time?

Its launched in India for $275 for the 256gb version! I'm only sceptical about the ufs 2.2 and the mediocre processor - not sure if it'll still be up to speed in a couple of years time, let alone the 5 years of updates promised...

If GSMArena's battery endurance comes back as 10 hours or more then I would say the battery life is sufficiently really good.
Do you have any alternatives in mind as standby? Mine is the Galaxy A55 and the OnePlus Nord 4.

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2024If it's just standby, no.So how can you explain whether having 85% battery left by 4pm (from 100% at 7am) be any good or worse?
