Anonymous, 28 Nov 2024How long you think a smartphone battery lasts?? I has sever... moreI have awful charging habits and I use my phones like PCs to move files for longs hours so my guess for the battery of this phone would be like 2 years or so, but also, Im used to hold to my smartphones for over 5 years so I believe you when you say batteries can last for a very long time. The difference though is that quick charge is a thing nowdays

The phone is already great for the buck, especially in India, @19999 INR, but once the camera lag issue is fixed, this will undoubtedly the best midranger here.

I got this phone (the 8+256GB version) in Colombia during a Black Friday deal for just US$235 which I think it was a steal (price is now back to US$315); I've been using it for a week already and so far I'm very satisfied; it has the perfect size, surprisingly good battery life, decent performance, good looking UI (at least better than the Edge 50 Fusion) and nice cameras although photos from the front-facing one tend to be a bit red-ish sometimes (I hope they fix this on a future firmware update).
I don't understand why so many negative reviews; I'm very happy with it, I just want an overall good phone and this one fits the bill. However, I do wish it had a SD card slot but for the price I am willing to sacrifice it; also, I'm not sure about the case included in the box, it is made of hard plastic and I prefer one made of soft rubber.

Anonymous, 02 Dec 2024I am using this phone for about 1.5 months. Got 2 updates a... moreI had the A55 and can confirm is much faster than A54, and probably faster than this one as well since it has UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5 memory. Not that I don't like the Edge 50 Neo, I think it is great, but A55 would have been a great choice as well.

I am using this phone for about 1.5 months. Got 2 updates already. I am Samsung user for about at least 10 years up to now. I can compare it directly to Samsung A54 now. This one is speedier than A54. They are both smooth but I mean A54 is slower somehow in scrolling, let say in browser or in Facebook etc. Not so noticeable in opening apps .So better
expierance with this one. I thought of getting A55 but as I mentioned before here I got 2 of these for pretty good price trough carrier contract renewal. If A55 is kind of the same speed like A54 this is far better.
Before that I used Sam S20 and than S22 as company phones. Both Exynos variants pretty good phones but I found myself always on battery saver mode so I can go for 1 working day/hotspot, Googlenaps,e-mails and so on/. I mean these flagship with powerfull soc , high resolution and so on but with smaller battery and to be always on battery saving mode is just.....
