Pinoyrocks, 12 Nov 2008Moto100, I noticed that latest models of Motorola has been ... moreNo idea, maybe the more features make a hard load on the phones...
This brand isn't exactly good at "smart" phones, most of its "smart" (or semi-smart like EM30) phones have slower response than non-smart (basic) ones.
BTW, my nickname is 100 Moto, not Moto 100...because 100 means something else to me not related to Moto or any phone.

Smape's opinion
The test results are quite self-explaining – Nokia and Motorola are leading. The former is known to produce some of the loudest phones on the market, the latter is generally associated with the best quality of audio output. Sony Ericsson can be credited with the best implementation of the A2DP feature and rich bundling of their products. Samsung has nothing to brag about, the strengthening of their music sector seen only as a future priority.

Model is good. Sound quality is same like other motorola mobiles. nothing special. Display is very small. Bluetooth speed is low.
===========================================================
Are you sure the sound quality is same like other Motorola Mobiles. Are you expert to review? Are you sure nothing special? The fact is Motorola EM30 has Shift Mode, CrystalTalk technology, compatibility with Windows Media Player 11 and much more. Are you sure display is very small? The fact is same size with normal size; the different only horizontal position and vertical position. How fast you need bluetooth? Motorola EM30 using the latest bluetooth technology. Remember the price is for Low End User. Read here the detail (motorola.com/motoinfo/product/details.jsp?globalObjectId=247). Remember post with the fact.

Compare with same class and same price.
SMAPE's opinion
Positioned in the same class, Motorola ROKR EM30 and Sony Ericsson W302 aren't peers. Both devices are less of a mass market product than Nokia 5310, however W302 is clearly overpriced and offers fewer features and a worse balance than its counterpart, so Motorola ROKR EM30 wins the competition.

Moto100, I noticed that latest models of Motorola has been generally sluggish. Just read the comments on this forum. I have never experienced it in my past MotoPhones. What do you reckon?

Anonymous, 11 Nov 2008Dear RBA, I read out your suggestion about my doubts of EM3... moreSorry I don't have an EM30, though I have used E8 (very similar to EM30), plus 40 Moto phones in the past 14 years. (of course some of them were analog or CDMA without SIM)
Though at least the ones I've used in the past 5 years or so, I was able to set the phone to view the contacts on both the SIM and phone at the same time.
You can call my Moto service hotline to confirm, the number is 852-2506-3888.
Oh, when you look at the country code, apparently I don't live in US, and I do agree with the person who mentioned the fact the so called "same phone" being sold among different places in the world may have different settings and maybe even features.
For examples, all Moto phones being sold in my city are UNLOCKED among all carriers, and they all support Chinese characters input.

I think you are not using EM30 phone because both your ideas are not applicable in my EM30. About 1) viewing contacts in both phone & sim memory, 2) Missed call alerts, what you suggested are not avaible in Moto EM30. This doubts I have clarify with Motorola Helpline (1800 111 211) as they replied me that both options are not applicable in EM 30 phone. Please check and confirm.
