I am using this phone since 3 weeks now and had posted my opinion in my earlier post. I must say i am very much satisfied with the phone. I have installed battery saver app from android market because of which battery life has increased which clearly indicates its the android which is power consuming and not the phone.
Very much satisfied with the display, performance, camera (during day light), internet speed, call quality and clarity. But yes sometimes back button is less responsive, requires couple of more touches. Other than that i cannot find any fault in this phone. This might be because of the software issue pointed out by somebody earlier. You can move your applications on your SD card using 3rd party android app to save on internal memory.
I would definitely recommend this phone to anybody who has a budget of around 13k and want to enter the android world...

Does skype supports video call on this phone. I am not able to do skype video call. If its not supported then the front cam is of no use , as 3g video calling is not supported by android and skype does not support the video call feature in the phone..
Skype should release a version to support this phone.

Sumit Behl, 31 Oct 2011The phone is good, good display, good touch, good sound, go... morebattery life is always less in androids. Search net for ways to maximize battery life.
Other than that, dont let the phone to discharge completely, its lithium ion battery, full discharges will destroy the battery.
Li-ion battery pick up after some full charges.

The phone is good, good display, good touch, good sound, good camera. Only problem i am facing is battery life of this phone, it lasts only a day. One problem i am facing is when battery is 15%, i get a warning msg and after 10 mins it shuts down. I want to confrim with the people using this phone are they facing same problem?

hey guys i took this moto fire xt three days backs .most of my friends questioned me on the brand. but my reply to them is recently google acquired 64% stake in motorola so they would certainly release quality phones.this phone is prices 12500/- so not expecting excellent features but for this price range is quite well with good processor in its class so no hangups. the touch buttons have slow response. camera, screen, display, speed, battery backup
are upto the mark.
just go for it! ! you would be happy.

Hello Guys,
I purchased Moto fire XT last week. and truely i will recommend this phone who has budget under 15K as this phone has all features. who can compromise with front camera and radio feature, then go for Moto defy (15.5K) or Samsung ACE.
Feature wise, i really luv this phone. enough screen size, android 2.3.4, front cam, sound, shape everything.
the only constraint i found is the battery (using internet for all day) as the company claims it has 1500mAh battery and will last long for 28 days on stand by and min 8 hrs talktime. I have to monitor very frequently sothat it will nt get off after discharging.
more review will be posted soon
