It does the job. Started out with a Motorola, went through a couple of Nokia phones, a Mitsubishi Trium (Odd phone, but good for the time)and then back to Nokia before a string of Motorola handsets. It has to be said that, despite it not being everyone's cup of tea, once you get used to the systems Motorola are stylish and reliable.

Compared to the 3 previous phones that I used before this one (2 other Motorolas & then a Nokia), this is unequivocally the best phone I've used to date. The voice quality is superb, the speakerphone is clear, and I can't recall the last time I was responsible for dropping a call. The connection quality is so good, in fact, that the majority of elevators don't cause a drop - no kidding.

Now, some people have bashed this phone, and Motorola, or Nokia, or whom or whatever. This is no different than AMD vs Intel, BMW vs Mercedes, and so on. Similar to products from those manufacturers (Computers & Cars), the real problem often is an under-educated product user frustrated by a lack of immediate gratification.

In the case of this phone (or any new product), try reading the manual, and then search the Web for information & support. You'll be surprised at what is out there insofar as knowledge, support, & customization for this and other Motorola phones. Check out motomodding.us & forums.mobiledia.com for starters and Google your way from there.

This has been the best phone I've yet owned. From comparing my phone to those of my friends & family, I won't hesitate to say that it's the best of the group in call clarity & connection continuity as well. The 2.0MP camera makes rather decent photos (providing that you arrange the settings properly - read the manual), and with a 2GB MicroSD card, I can take MP4 videos, record voice memos, transfer files via bluetooth, and still have room for a few hours of mp3s. ;-)

As always, YMMV, but from a year and a half of personal experience with this phone, I'd say that if you're looking at buying this phone (or even paying the $40 upgrade fees I've recently seen with activations), stop thinking about it & just do it.

Get yourself this phone, a bluetooth headset (The H800 works well - some friends have Plantronics Voyagers & seem just as happy), a car charger, and a good protective case, then don't look back. I haven't, and haven't needed to. Chances are you won't either. :-)

                        bassem,

Absolutely agree with your comment. One thing I must point out, Motorola do produce phones with the best call quality in the business!

excellent slim shaped phone ... one disadvantage i found ... really annoying: very low speaker volume ... also for the multimedia clips .. 7 levels volume and still very weak :(

i bought this phone weeks ago. i love it. i have the gold one. so sophisticated, slim and light. perfect for the people always on the go. i've also seen the hot pink fone of this and mind you, it's also so beautiful! if i've seen both colors at the same time, i might be having difficulty choosing between the two. the camera is good if there's good lighting. it doesn't have a flash and so it would be difficult to take pictures when there's not enough light at the background.

I haven't got the Krazor yet but so many people I know have got it, so it can't be that bad, can it? I'm getting the pink version because I think it's so stylish! I've had the LG Chocolate (KG800) 18 months now so I'm looking forward to a change! Please don't try to respond to this because I'm moving to Australia in two weeks and I'm just trying to get my belongings sorted, and trying to get my new phone bought and packed up. Bye

Probably the most stylish, reliable phone ive ever had. Only problem you might find is that after using the small keypads for sometime, holding something like a Razr would feel super weird
