About the sms capacity, it holds as much as 400+ (probably around 500), much superior than previous RAZR V3.

you can get a usb cable anywhere you can even buy a usb cord with all the adaptors got one at woolworths for $6 I use my digital camera cord the beauty of motorola is it doesnt have to be especially made for the phone. A s for memory card its slot is underneath the battery beneath your sim card.

you dont realy do aything to make an mp3 a ringtone just put them on your memory card and apply them as ringtones if you want them smaller you will have to get motorola phone tools.
if you are are having problems geting your k1 to work with the computer so you can put mp3 ringtones etc on your phone heres how you do it. If u have a memory card for your k1 you need a usb cable the kind u use with a digital camera nothing special, now u will need the driver I will attach site to end of this post.now on your phone in settings\ connect \usb settings\ change from data transfer to memory card. Ok install driver plug in and go if you dont have a memory card you will have to download the latest motorola phone tools to connect Ithink its 4.0 or over for this phone. the drivers are herehttp://www.nodevice.com/driver/company/Motorola.html or here http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/au/support/driversNplugins.asp?country=aus&language=ena

I have had the K1 for about 10 months. Love the way the phone works BUT the physical body of the phone is terrible. For areas not covered with the high-tech(?) glass, they used some form of paint. That paint is chipping off in several areas, notably the dark blue and silver colored areas exposing a white plastic frame structure underneath. Also, the hightech glass covering is now cracked. I am a retired businessman so my usage is not extreme and rough. Mechanically the phone operates very well but I am VERY surprised that Motorola would make such a fine phone with such shody body structure components. Anyone else have this problem? If so, was the faulty material covered by a warranty?
