Please help me!!
I bought this phone from Vodafone Ireland who advertised it as not having a memory card slot but having 256MB internal memory. i thought that would be plenty but am finding the memory is getting filled easily.
This site is saying there is a memory card slot and only 20MB internal memory, so can someone please confirm to me which is true????????????

I got this phone June 2007. It has been a nightmare! About 3 months after getting it started to freeze up. When it did that there was no volume on the phone at all, no ring, no number tones, nothing. It would go days like this, no calls no texts, nothing. The only remedy is take out the battery and restart it. That would only solve the problem temporarly. On occasion, it wouldnt send text messages right away, but rather wait a week and send a bunch all at once. Not good for the dating scene!!! I contacted AT&T and their solution was to change out the sim card. That didnt work so they sent me a new phone. That didnt work either, since the phone they sent me has the same problems. They are sending me another phone! According to the phone warranty the policy is to send you the same make and model until the phone actually works properly. My only solution is to pay for another brand of phone outside of the my wireless contract. I highly recommend NOT getting this phone!

I have had this KRZR for a year; I was not too pleased with it at first, but it has grown on me. I had 2 RAZRs prior the KRZR, I liked some the features of the RAZR, like the huge speed dial memory, it was 250 or more, the KRZR has 9 speed dial presets. I also liked text messaging features better on the RAZR, at the bottom of the screen were a list of words you could choose from, the KRZR you have to scroll through a list of words. The camera is much better than the first RAZR's however, I am sure they have improved. I do like the large memory of the KRZR but there again, the new RAZRs have improved as well. I do like how slim the KRZR is verse the RAZR or my last 5 Nokias. I have found it hard to find a cover I like, I think this is due to the lack of popularity of this phone in the US. I have resorted to using “palm pilot” screen protectors on both screens and camera lens. I have had some luck with Krusell brand covers on my RAZRs but as to my KRZR, I had a Krusell cover on for less than 3 months before it tore, my second one has not been much better.
As for my personal scale of 1 to 10, I give the KRZR a 6.
Good luck with your KRZR

just FYI if you purchased this phone in Fido and has a R47121_g_08.01.11R S/W there will be no way to use your .mp3 as your ring tone. Now if your SW is lower than R47121 you can use your .mp3 file as a ringtone via bluetooth transfer while your sim card is absent from your phone this forces the phone to save it internally. However, for S/W R47121 there is a hard way to get this thing to use .mp3 file you must edit your current .mp3 file name to match of that .mp3 ringtone that came with your phone you will need P2K program to do this.
To find out your S/W version press *#9999# on your phone keypad or shutdown your phone and restart it by holding *,# & power button at the same time.
cheers

I got this phone exactly two months ago and I'm not impressed. I like that you can easily place MP3 files on it. The camera isn't too bad on it, and mine doesn't seem to have the slow problem most people's has. Mine has a problem with the numbers wearing off. I admit, I have nails and I text a lot, but I've never had a phone within 2 weeks start having all the numbers wear off. Also, when I am texting, the backlight on the number pad flashes off and on. The front cover is a great idea, but they break SOOOOO easily. Would be a much better phone apparently if they had a nice cover that fits it well. Only covers I've found makes them hard to shut and doesn't cover all the buttons on the pad and drove me nuts. Taking it back to US Cellular today to find out if manufacturer will cover the button problem, at a minimum.

I have found that this phone is extremely slow and freezes up a lot. It does not allow you to put your mp3 as your ring tone and with the camera having glass over it I always have fuzzy pictures. I did learn that if you release the battery and put it back in it will speed it up for awhile.

hey people!
for people having trouble with putting Mp3 songs as ringtones...............it works like this........you first go to settings and then to user files where you set the ringtone and there is an option of setting your mp3 song as a ringtone...

well, i have been using this phone like for a month and it gave me no more than trouble.
even though the design is beautiful, there is a huge mistake in this and its the glass cover. its really easy to break. apart from that, the battery life is reeeeeally low

The exterior of the phone is sexy and in the flip-side... Its aight, nothing to really complain about. Sometimes freezes :S. Ok camera and video recording. LOW battery life. May have to recharge during the evening. This is my biggest problem with the phone. The speaker phone is a nuiscance and makes me give up on trying to talk to it. Basically, its more money than its worth. Look into something more dream worthy and invsting.

I love this phone. Yes it is Worth it, some people say it stuffs up, Mine doesnt, I have dropped it once, and it is still fine! I love the whole lot. completley worth it, I had a Nokia once upon a time and will never ever go back! I am a big fan. Only slight problem is that it appears scratched on the front, this is becasue it is shiny.. and if you use a glasses or jewellery soft cloth on it it comes up a dream and a half
10/10. Sleek and Sexy..small and stylish, its a better phone than the V3/V3i, and is smaller so it fits in your pockets with ease! Another thing it could use is side lights so when it rings it lights up, the Nokia 2650 had that and was the best function around.. other than that and the scratching-appearances I would recommend this phone to ANYONE!

yeah by the way this phone is possibly the worst phone to get. it freezes constantly and if you upgrade it nothing will change. it takes a long time to delete any text messages and if you press menu or something the screen does not pop up right away it takes a second and it gets very aggravating.
i suggest if you still haven't gotten it to consider something else.
