Amy, I see that you have problems not only with your phone but also with your service provider. The message that you number is not longer in service and the one 'calling, calling' is due to you cellular operator not your phone, the one calling you would go directly to the answering machine.

This phone has had more problems than ANY phone I have ever had. I have had to replace it multiple times. It stops accepting calls and you have no clue until you try to make a call and it keeps saying calling...calling...
Then give your caller the message that your # is no longer in service. Now everytime I turn it on it starts the browser and all keys lock up/ have to pull the battery to turn it off.

Now i have been using my new k1 for a few weeks now i thought i will give some more opinions about it. Firstly, im absolutely amazed at how long the battery lasts-5 days, thats about double the amount of time i have been used to with most of my previous mobiles! Ok it gets some fingerprints over it, although if you are really that bothered by this just polish them away with a dry cloth or something (if you got a black fabric pouch with your k1 that works a treat to bring the shine of the k1 back). The user interface is much better than previous motorolas ive had, although im uncertain wether its because of the fact that its very heavily vodafone branded. The camera takes really great pictures-during the day. The lack of flash makes it practically useless at night for taking pics. It has a reasnobally good digital audio player on it, although the volume of it is a bit too low for my liking on the loudest setting, although im wondering maybe using a bluetooth music headset will make it better?

            to vic:

to check the memory status of your memory card just go to settings then select phone status. after that scroll down and select storage devices then click memory card then select details.

              to alnawaz:
hey! this is the answer to your question..to change the storage for your mesgs from sim to phone just follw this steps:

              1. go to menu
              2. select messages
              3.click options
              4.scroll down then select setup
              5.then select message setup
6.scroll down then select txt msg setup
              7.then select default storage
              8. then choose phone

and there it goes..everytime you'll receive a msg it will store directly to your phone memory.

hi everyone! i've just bought krzr k1 and it's a great phone. i really like it a lot. i've been using nokia cellphones before and every year i keep changing phones because i get unsatisfied but when i changed to motorola my views changed. i swear this will be my last phone ever and if i'm going to buy another phone in the future it will be an upgrade of this one.

hello everyone! Ive just bought a krzr GOLD edition to replace my beloved v3i..and im loving it for its wonderful design..people cant help but stare...contrary to what people say, its features are more than satisfactory, with a dedicated web browser, fast USB file transfer, nice camera and bluetooth. Im planning to get a bluetooth headset for the music next..

hey.. I bought this mobile couple days ago.. it's fantastic. It's not as long as everyone says so, I had motorola SLVR L7 which is longer and heavier at a lot more slower than K1. I have 1gb memory card and the sound on head phones is great. It has a possibility of voice command, great when you are riding a bike or something else!! I recomend it!!

I did change the text message setup to "default to phone" and also got memory card (i dont have any pictures or songs in it) but the "memory low" still appears..

Anybody knows how to check the free space left in the memory card?

                                  thx..

About the "low memory" alert for the SMS, maybe it's set to store messages in the sim card. Change it so that it will store SMS to the phone. To change that, go to MESSAGES>OPTIONS>SETUP>MESSAGE SETUP>TEXT MSG SETUP and then change DEFAULT STORAGE to phone.
