anybody knows how to set up the quantity of sms that we can store in K1? mine says "memory low" everytime i got incoming sms. its really strange because i have only 32 sms-es in phone and they're all from my sim card..

Hi all, i just got this phone yday and its great..
can anybody please tell me how do i see the delivery report of my sms (to know whether the sms delivered or not), because sometimes due to provider's error, sms cant be delivered and i want to know if i can see it or not (is there some sort of sign on the message icon or something...)

The moto k1 is an excellent phone. Whilst it doesnt set the house on fire with its features, it has solid features and i find it has a solid build. It feels less plasticy than say the d900i which ive had recently, and then sold. Its pretty much like any phone. look after it, and it will look after you. Easily the best looking phone in the market.

hi everyone well krzr k1 a good set nice sound quality camera average good reception but no fm radio!!!!! well raido should b there anyway dont like its bluetooth it doesn't receive data with old sets like sony erricson t610 and samsung series and motorala L7 anyway i love mine and most important mine front didn't crash at all it only get finger prints during 4 months usage

can anyone help.spent 2.5 hours on phone to motorola.35 mins pc world..fault with phone conection to pc ,memery card conection ok ,tells me phone hard wear connected all ok..but when you connect the data conection, shows phone on screen ok and hardwear ,but then tells me phone not connected .please can anyone help ?

Maybe you should restart your phone whenever you add data on it. It works on my L71 (the OS is quite the same). Or mayB you can speed it up using Motospeed at the www.motox.info site.

@ ThinkSmart.... why not get a V3 instead of comparing a good phone with a good camera to a phone that does not have enough memory and a poor camera !!!!!

Well im KRAZ about my new KRZR! Having used a SE K800I for about 6 months, i loved it, although it had a very small fault with it which let it down. So i fancied a change, something different, and i saw this K1 for sale for well under half its original price. Not being a great motorola fan (had a v3 before, became very faulty, and a SLVR, and wasnt impressed as all it came with was a charger, all other bits were optional extras!) i wasnt expecting too much from the k1, just thought it looked nice. However, i am seriously impressed with it. Firstly it looks such an amazing phone, i like the glass front which to me doesnt really look fragile. Having been seriously dissapointed with the slvr sales package, i was simply gobsmacked with the sales package of this phone, a botomless pit of extra goodies (brought vodafone pay as you go uk k1, got with it cd-rom, usb lead, headphones, a BLUETOOTH HEADSET (within the box, so not something the shop has added as an extra), 128mb memory card + adptor and a sort of pouch thing to put your k1 in. All this is very good. As for the phone itself, it has a crystal clear display, a good user interface (a slightly improved version of the older one, although the differences are minute, they make a huge difference. The music player is good and so is the camera. Just a shame there isnt a flash, however, if there is some form of light in the background at night it will take a good picture. Overall a great phone, just not used to having a great phone with the motorola badge on it!

I love my new KRZR K1 phone. I'm an arty person into colour & monochromatic art luv the cosmic blue of this phone-it's a vibrant blue I even sometimes find uplifting & calming. The glass cover's a bit fragile though-should be toughened glass or something. Great camera, easy to use phone, it's bluetooth I find easier to use than any other phone. I highly recommend this phone.

The speed of the won't change under any circumstances. It took exactly 30seconds to load my Digital Audio Player with 1GB card and only 3MB free space in it!

Would have bought, but a few things need to be done:
[1]Like that buttons are not on the side like v3 razor.
[2]Forget fancy exterior coating, it just needs a simple rugged type like razor v3.
[3]It needs a 1200mah battery, I dont care about it being so skinny (front-to-back}.
[4]It needs a jack on the side for standard wired hands-free headset,helps reduce unnecessary RF radiation to head which bluetooth headsets don't do, since they also transmit RF, DuhH!
[5]Be sure to keep top quality in sound{heard+spoken}/reception.
[6]Sell it unbranded/unlocked direct from your site.

Yes it's all about the looks. I love its design, but the software and graphic are just moderate.
At first I founnd difficulty as K1 does not support OBEX to sync Phonebook and Calendar with my laptop. But after installing Motorola Phone Tools, and upgrade it to latest version (4.5.x), sync via cable/bluetooth is so easy. However K1 records sound for only 60 secs, and video 06 secs max, which are far below average.

hi everyone i also wanna know is 512mb micro sc card better or 1gb if we consider speed. i hev heard if u put 1gb card and put a lot of music n videos in it it will hang too often and digital audio player tooks more than a minute to open is it true? which one should i buy 512mb or 1gb

Thanx God i can now transfer music and pics to my pc and to my phone i install win xp again and just install the same s/w which was nt working previously but amazingly it works well this time. Anyway can u people tell me how to lock only the videos and picture folder in multimedia not the whole multimedia lock. As the lock application locks the entire multimedia??? pzl reply
