hi all, im thinking of getting this phone later in pink... is it worth it cos i love the look of it! plus will the phone hold a song withoput the memory as in not getting the memory till next week? xx

Thanx God i can now transfer music and pics to my pc and to my phone i install win xp again and just install the same s/w which was nt working previously but amazingly it works well this time. Anyway can u people tell me how to lock only the videos and picture folder in multimedia not the whole multimedia lock. As the lock application locks the entire multimedia??? pzl reply

Hi Zoran. you have to go to the main menu, then to settings and initial setup, there you will find the language option. Regards.

Hi Gracey: I hope that by this time you have your phone operating well. The Moto tools version 4.5.1 works great with the K1, I don't thnk that the XP is a problem and you already have the SP2. Regards.

Mark: I have Motorola usb cable, so I don't think that's the problem. Could it be the conflicting O/S? I have version 4.2.1a for XP SP2. However, my O/S is a XP Home. The last time I called up Motorola Live Update, it did what it did, seemingly updating with most up-to-date version. Not true. Now, I just called it up again and it's detected 2 versions I need, one being the 4.5 you're suggesting. I hope this brings me up to speed and I can be able to transfer music/pics between phone and pc soon!

Anyone experiencing battery problems with this phone? Mine needs to be charged within 2 days even though I would only use it to call less than 30 minutes a day. I sometimes play the game for maybe 10-15 minutes, but would that really drain the battery that much?

Umair, I have read your posts and think that the best you can do is to contact your local Motorola representative to ask for a solution, they can fix any problem with your phone and they can teach you how to operate the functions you need.

hi everyone one more problem i can snd files through bluetooth to others but i m unable to receive any file from other bluetooth as i tried the find me option also but after one minute a no devices search. other device detect my bluetooh device but when try to snd any file an error msg appears i make a profile by snding some files to other device in this way i got device name of other device in device history but stil unable to receive any file this set seems useless to me as i m unable to receive anything via bluetooth and also from my pc wht's the matter??? plz plz help me

Mine works well with the 'Data Conection' setting. I have the memory card inserted and have the option to go to both memories. By the, this is a great phone, I'm very happy.

Hi everyone so Greace i m still unable to transfer anything at all from my mobile to pc or pc to mobile just lik u... my s/w now detects my mobile and show a krzr k1 look on the screen i can also access my phone book but the only thing not working is msg inbox and multimedia studio multimedia studio opens but when i clik on my phone tab or transfer to phone or pc tab a msg apperas aftr some time unable to communicate i m using data cable of my digi cam which detects my phone also i dont hav memory card and in phone usb setting there are three options data connection, memory card, usb printing which one should i select for transferring music to my phone not to memory as i dont hav memory card sorry for putting this quere again and again but i really want to communicate my phone to pc plz reply everyone who hav suggestions regarding this prob

Don't forget that you need to have Windows XP SP2. to have usb ports working properly.

Gracey and Umair, I'm sure that you have a problem with the software your are using. You can get the software from your service provider or from a Motorola dealer. Perhaps you received a cd with version 4.0 of the Motorola Phone tools. You have to update via the 'Live Update' option of the software to get at least version 4.36. It is a lot better if you get version 4.51c, You have to get a good cable, preferable the original one from Motorola, it is cheap, as much as 2 or 3 Us$. Regards.

Umair, I'm getting the same problem when I update the software. The device model is not listed for the Motorola GSM device manufacturer. This is also for manual detection. Even clicking on the update list doesn't help. I've given up and just selected GSM Generic. How do you transfer pictures from the phone to the PC? Does anyone have any suggestions?

hi everyone plz plz help me as i m still unable to transfer files and music from my pc to mobile or mobile to pc as i start multimedia studio and wants to transfer mp3 or polyphonic or any video or pic after in progress a msg apperas unable to communicate also when i press my mobile tab the same msg appers again wht should i do?? is this happened to someone else or is it only me getting this prob?? plz help me

It is advisable but not neccesary to connect the Sd before sending data to the phone, if you don't you will use the phone's internal memory. Motorola has the phone hidden from other devices, you have to go to the settings and tell the phone to 'appear' for one minute to other devices in the area. Regards.
