quite true, the reason they have camera install on the phone in the first place because they want people have more convenience to access to one. Like taking picture of cute girl you saw on the street (hehe, just joking), or accident (your cars and others car hit), some crime (someone could steal your stuff, and criminal face that you could take fast enough), a surprize party (like a party that you haven't ready for anything yet). But somehow, they tried to improve the quality of the picture (increase the picture size , quality, and lightning condition) over the years. But let's us all welcome new technology. It's always good to have a convenience feature than it not to have.

No ,this is a *good phone, just a phone ........if you need somethin else just buy the damn camera

The guy below is quite correct, you have a good understanding about digital camera !! That's why a 6 megapixel professional camera is way more value than a normal consumer 10 megapixel camera
Not the megapixel decide it all, it also combine with other feature such as the quality of the lens, the auto adjusting of light on one surface dimension (CCD){hope their have 3CCD, it way so nice} and proper condition of light, and the data rate of pixel filling.
Like a normal digital camera, even though there're 6 megapixel, it's still have normal, good and best to adjust the crispiness and quality of the picture. You can see the different by the look, and by the size (in Kilobyte) of the images in computer

I agree with the guy below, the number of megapixels isnt the unique quality factor, for example the k750 (2MP)takes a lot better pics than N80 (3MP), you take into account the camera sensor quality, lens quality, algorithm process, focal lenght and autofocus.
For example N73 has CZ lenses but the pics are a lot noisy and oversaturated in tint, this give the impression of an excellent pic. The fact here is the sensor quality, isnt the best, on the contrary the lens are very good.
In S700 the sensor is CCD, in V3i is CMOS with plastic lenses, you see the difference.
The same is with KRZR, motorola never had a true camera phone, or a real camera-oriented phone, even with 1MP the SE K510 takes better pics in comparisson with KRZR

u only knoe abt megapixel..
megapixel is just only one factor to decide photo quality. If u wanna say 1.3 mega, then i will say V3i is NOWHERE NEAR SE S700i. Got it??

Well i'm quite surprised to see this phone still has the same old v3 interface with child like crayola drawings which looks truelly shamefull even motorola themselves would be embarresed to talk about the interface if you asked them. Secondly this phone looks worse than the original Razr v3. The K1 looks to curvy and looks to long which is dispreportionate to its thiness. It looks ugly the v3 looked much better. The 2mp camera looks worse than a samsung 1mp camera and the k1 only has a maximum of 50 second video recording time then it stops. Most new phones from samsung, SE, NOKIA etc offer 1 hour video recording so why are motorla still giving you just 50 seconds.

my first phone was moto, so was my 2nd, 3rd and i lost count (latest being V3x and w220)...until recently when i tried nokia (6280, N80) and SE (S600, W810)..to me, moto can come out something with a killer look, though they do have some craps...but the main question to me is why can't they just improve on the interface? why why why????? krzr is elegant, yet the interface looks like CRAP...its like a big fat red pimple sitting right on the tip of the nose!!! i think SE is riding on this for their success (of course they are other issues like camera etc)

yes indeed motorola, the phone is barely wider than my thumb yet you should've given us a 2.4 inch screen.

ok i do not get motorola, they make a new shiny phone but they give it a tiny screen and you still have that ugly bulky bit at the bottom........ i wills tick with my nokia n70

Of course you tool K750 is 2mp and V3i is only 1.3!!! I dont doubt that it was a better camera. I suppose you think the 6101 camera is better than K800!!!! Ha Ha Ha Ha

i like it. what can i say?? the phone is perfect. there is nothing wrong with it. however the three other posts, this far, are quite childish. i guess 1) neither one of you can afford it 2)your brains are not working properly to understand the software 3)you simply don't like it....
the phone works perfect, the pictures are a lot better quality then most Sony Ericsson phones. (it might be that i have bought mine in china and not the US....extra features)
my suggestion: if you are looking for a phone that has the qualities/features of most phones out there; then this is the phone for you! it looks good and works perfect!!!

roflmao. yeah right. i guess the KRZR K1 will be a complete and utter failutre at such a high return rate.
problem with you know it all phone salesman who swear they all get returned is you just sell so many. if you sell 45 KRZRs and 10 get returned, that 10 may look high compared to another phone but what if you only sold 15 of that handset to begin with?
you salesmen did the same thing with RAZR, get a lot of returns and swear its crapola. you get a lot of returns because 7 out of 10 people in your store are leaving with RAZRs!!!!

well i got the k1 but the thing is after daylight savings... the time went back 2 hours but even though i set it back in the time and date function... the time still gets set back two hours... what do i do?? PLEASE HELP:)
