"omg dere makin dis phone over and over again. it's getting irratating. don't really like razr of krzr's not really "different" and it's too cheap in which everbody can hav 1 4 free"
"motorola should be bankrupt by now. who buys there phones"
Motorola isn't stupid, and they won't ever be bankrupt. These phones come out gradually better with small features adjusted. SOme people know that, so they wait for the better of the line, such as this one. The best of the KRZR line with 3.5G tech.
If it's irritating, then stop looking at motorola. Why don'tcha wait until Nokia comes out with another plastic cruiseship with nearly all the same features?
MOTO's all about design while also keeping up with the technology. It might not have what's so cool out there like symbian or even higher grade cameras, but not most people care for that. The number of people who're on here looking for phones look for that mostly. But that doesn't even make up for the population of people who look for phones based on what they want. And what they want is usually a good camera, maybe 2.0 and flash is a good add on if possible. The rest is about how good the phone's quality is such as form factor and ergonomics. They might look the same, but from the RAZR and the KRZR, to use each phone, there's a difference. Not small, but a substantial amount. On each Nokia phone, it's usually the same too anyway. Think of each model line for MOTO, each phone for SE, Nokia and w/e there is out there. MOTO builds on a very good progression while nokia's spending all of their development on slower techs at 3G trying to please each aspect of what YOUR looking for. Or atleast people like YOU. Personally, I don't like how big the nokias are all the time. And also how they always make the plastic so obvious. Nothing to conceal the fact that it's plastic. Moto on the other hand actually makes it look good. They don't leave their candybars as a whole cover of plastic around a peice of tech. They make it have a texture of metal, a different feeling other then plastic and in some cases, they use a special rubber too. Glass in cases with this phone and the other RAZRs. And when Nokia designs their phones to be 'designer', they're half failure, have plastic still. Taking the 7000 series into account. A few of them were really not ergonomic. And their Candybars have been getting boring. Though they may be slightly different everytime, whenever I walk by a retailer, I just see the same thing over and over again and I know it's Nokia. Nothing special about their Candybars. But MOTO always makes each of their flips and candybars different. RAZRs expecially. In some way or another, their whole V3 line is customizable by MOTO, from MOTO to make a V3i look different from another one. But Nokia, you'd have to buy from them either different coloured plastic faceplates, or go get 3rd party ones. I could go on about Nokia, but I've decided to give them a rest. RAZRs are overrated, true. But the true company with the over played song is Nokia with their over and over again similar Candybars. I can't ever tell on the bus which one is which. They're all 2-3cm thick and look like the battery's just waiting to fall out if the phone drops.
BTW, if you look, there's a difference between MOTO's new and old phones here at GSMArena and very few similarities. If you look at Nokia's old and new phones, there are MANY similarities in general.
Also probably why you think the RAZR is over used, or even the KRZR is because when you were younger and everyone had a cellphone, they had RAZRs and that's when it was cool.
Because they have 5000000 units and even more across the globe. But nokia? not alot of people carrying a specific model, because they're not really big winners.

Conflicting reports about whether this is quad-band or tri-band. My guess is this will follow common Motorola practice to drop a radio frequency in favor of a 3G upgrade, i.e., it's probably tri-band. That's not necessarily useful to those of us that travel overseas with our phones and need all 4 frequencies :-(

So far nobody has stated the fact that this is a 3G phone. So if you don't have T-Mo or AT&T don't bother getting it. I will though.

I saw this phone in Barcelona. Wow, HSDPA 3.6 goodbye DSL 3MB connection at home. Its like a mean K1. The color fits this phone perfectly and the specs look nice. Great to see that it supports both EDGE and HSDPA.
