We need to hear from L6 owners about the keypad light while charging issue. Is it true?

hey,
im planning to buy this phone......how good is it.is it slow......i dont care about the cmera but how is the bluetooth........n r there no sms alerts?? is it true that the bck light remains on while charging??
how does it compare with nokia 6030??
help me out guys!!!

i just got the motorola L6 yesturday and it only turns on when it is charging?? whats with that, and when i am in the middle of a phone call it just turns itself off! is anyone else having this problem???

Hi Macho..
I wonder if it's true that the L6 keypad keeps on being on while charging... ? and that there are no SMS alerts (I mean short tones for SMS) .. ?

Good phone for its price.some of its problems , no sms alerts , most motos have this problem , poor quality camera and not protected.Weak battery ,unconfortable keypad especially the central menu key.Somebody mentioned that this phone overheated , you are right.I didnt like the sounds so I got a bluetooth adaptor with a cd software its called Handset manager , with this you can transfer files to pc and your phone.As for mp3 this phone has short memory so you have to cut the mp3 before transfer it .Sounds are good though but you can only record your voice when you send mms or video recording.Have it for 3 months and its ok so far...I ve tried also alcatel sony ericsson , nokia siemens and my last one before L6 it was a samsung E620 and although it had a better camera it sucked especially the quality of its material.L6 fell down twice and believe me its working perfectly.VSS

Hi..To Deepa..To connect ur phone to pc either u need a data cable and usb driver which does not come with ur phone as u r in India...so its better if u will buy a bluetooth dongle which is cheap abt 300 Rs and u also get drivers for it...so u can easily share ur data with pc and vice versa...U can get mp3 ringtones from other phones..just turn on ur phones bluetooth and send a ringtone from other phone ..its just sa simple as that....... If u have observed there is a sensor which looks like a mike on left side of ur phone near left bottom of screen..Its a light senser..it turn of keypad backight when there is enough light...I tried it ,it really works...It is also useful for measuring light intensity when u set picture condition to Automatic.. simply cool..

it is really very cute mobile, i got it from my friend...but i dont know how send picture from my mobile to PC, i also want to download some songs from my PC to my mobile...can u help me?

Hi people.Answers of some of the Qs. You can lower volume of songs/videos while palying.When u r playing mp3/video just press menu,then press left key of ur joysick and select how much volume u want..! U can turn off ringer when any 1 calls u just by presing left key of ur joysick when ur phone starts ringing.so ur phone stops ringing and the other person still hears the ring. Yes,you can receive full mp3 songs through bluetooth. To search for bluetooth devices,just go to pictures,select any pic ,press menu and select Copy.then it will ask to turn on bluetooth.press yes,then at last there is an option..'Look for more devices'..select it .So now you can c other phones whose blootooth is On.

i had this phone for 3 days now and i love it except the fact that the camera quality is very poor. is anyone else expericing the same problem?

Really a nice set with a very small prob.First-it has no sms alert tone & i can't connect it with pc.Anybody help me.Great bluetooth. I'm satisfide with it.

The Bluetooth is supposed to be working very well according to many reviews I've read. As to the keypad light while charging, I think it's a bug in a limited number of L6s, so return your phone for another one if yours behave like that -- unless it's because of a setting I'm not aware of.

i have got this mobile a week ago from my dad.its a very gud an fit mobile.........slim an sleek.its main quality is this its having blutooth,i thing i wnt to know that how can i download wallpapers,tonesand stuff.how can i transfer my pics to my pc?

why does the backlight remain on when charging the L6 by ac adaptor? what a stupid feature....if anyone knows how to get it off email:sanowarlkhan@hotmail.com...THANKS

it looks good but i am little bit upset with some of the features;
1)user can scrol continuously from one messege to another. it can obviously cause privacy threats.
2)it gets overheated.
3)and a surprising thing is i couldn't find out sound recorder although it has a video option with sound. Sound recording is possible only in case of voice message but the sound cannot be saved in the cell.
if anyone can suggest me remedies of any of the above mentioned problems, then plz send me email.

L6 is an overall gr8 phone for it's price. But I'm absolutely disappointed with it's bluetooth. For people who use bluetooth frequently: DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! File transferring FROM PC to Phone is miserable. Other phones cannot detect this phone. The bluetooth signal is the phone's weakest point.
