hi i need some help i have just bought the motorola L6 and after only having it a day the blue light that shines behind the key pad dissapeared when i was creating a new imelody. i have read all the books but i just cant seem to get it back thou it comes on when the phone is switched on. if anyone can help me id be very grateful :-D thanks. email at the_glob_master@hotmail.com

ive apparently got 3 picture messages waiting for me [my friends asked if i received them] but my phone isnt notifying me... ive got a 02 version of the motorola l6 with imode and i think i need that too recieve them. But i cant seem to get it. Does anyone know how to? Also does anyone know how to take and watch videos and download and play mp3s? Does this phone have the capabity to download and watch videos from the internet?

PLEASE HELP!!!! i bought an unlocked pink l6 from ebay, it works great and i can still send text messages but i cannot for the life of me figure out how to download music from my pc to my phone, can someone please email me n help me out?????

--to make it work you just follow this:
1. open P2kTools 0.8.6 and then connect your L6, then it will ask for drivers, tell win to install it from the ones i posted here. (probably it´s not going to recognize the phone)
2. Restart your PC, then open P2ktools
3. Connect your L6 and it should be detected.
*important: Do not connect the phone before opening the program (p2ktools or motodmidman)
*after making P2ktools work, motomidman is going to work perfectly.

tomorrow i plan to buy a new cell phone, and this one looks really nice, but is it worth buying? ive heard alot of opinions and im not sure what to do? should i buy it? o yea can i upload pics on to my comp using just a usb cable?

I think this phone is great volume is generally loud i mean iwas in a club andi could hear the person on the other line as ifthey were next to me unbelievable my only problem with this phone is the memory situation other than that ilove it

to change the settings of ur home screen - time place
Click on settings - personalise - home screen -change layout to left justified or center.

Motorola L6 has a voice recorder or song recorder to set it as ur ringtone.
The step is Messages - New voice messages - put it near to ur pc, tv or radio and record it for maximum of 1 minutes and 2 seconds.
U need to send it to any number that is invalid example 012 or 013 only.obviously nobody use 012 as a contact number.the message will be sending and and last it will say message cannot be sent.so don;t worry it won't deduct ur credit.then open ur outbox and hear it and click store and store only and it will be in ur media songs.
record it from ur TV or radio and it will be better sound and from original CD the sound is clearer.u can delete the song as well.
This will take ur space of 97 to 98 kb only compare to 1000 kb if u use MP3 sound.

I suggest you used a blue tooth USB device which u can transfer photo song and calendar to ur computer and vise versa.
u can find it in any shopping complex or any computer shop.
is is called bluetooth doggle.

can add 2 full songs only - 10MB
can add 7 songs but in one song is 1 to 2 minutes only.
the phone hang some times
do not prefer if u love to hear songs.
L7
have memory card.
can add more than 50 song depend to memory card ( can up to 1Gigabyte = 1000Mega bite )
the photos is more clearer than L6.

i wanna know if i can play mp3 on this phone and the total number of song i can download on the phone without it affecting the phone memory and what is the difference between the phone and L7

I spent a while entering information in the 'nickname' field only to find it is not used. I thought it would use this when receiving a call, especially since you can set different nicknames for people's different numbers. Is there any way to enable this?
