guys this a really good phone for the price i mean it's really cool i recieved my phone today and i love it i've been using nokia for the past four years and i finally got a motorola i would recommend this phone to anybody!!!

Hi All,
I am trying to buy cell phone last 3 days.
I need only phone. I do not care about MP3
player (prefer to listen music indoors),
camera (have two digital cameras, one DSLR). I do not play games on a phone. I need phone, only phone and nothing else.
I am getting crazy when somebody gives phone low score because of low quality of camera.
I do not understand what does it mean, quality of phone's camera.
Please, could anybody tell me, how about connections, is this camera O.K. with earpiece sound and so on?

i like this phone
very slim
good price for really nice look
wow
made from mettal non plastic(aluminium)
my pack has (cable+cd)
easy to transfer mp3 and pic to phone

to poster below I droped my phone to times and it's working fine....
only a little tiny scrach even can't be noticed appeared after the second drop!
both were strong enough to damege another phone...
but even though you have to watch out cuz you don't know if there was such a drop to break your phone!!!

yo, this fone does have a volume control. The manual is a bit mad but when your playing something on the fone press the menu button with the 3 small lines on it and press the left or right buttons to turn the music players voulme up or down. These peps here should take note cause this fone is gd

Hello there I have a kind of review about this phone after using it for about a month:
good things:
-Really attractive look and every one sees the phone just says Wow!
-Great Speaker and Mp3 player.
-Bluetooth
-good features price set.
-good call qulity.
-battery lasts about 2 days with a lot of usage.
-camera is good for a phone's camera
-video player is good
-If you have the data cable and the software then you could do a lot with your phone, got them in the dilivery package.
bad things:
-no Memory expanding.
-some software bugs - hope the coming firmwares fix them-
-Display isn't bad but due to software bug when the phone resizes an image to view it the quality is bad.
-the zoom option for pictures is ridecules cuz it can only view the full image size.
-the phone can't handle images with resolution more than 640*480 - also a software thing- and can be fixed with new firmwares.
at the end I'm happy with my phone cuz every handset has good things and bad things...
and as I think the good things with this phone wins!

Motorola L6 is very nice and slim but result of camera is not good as compare to C261.Irealy very love this mobile and one more thing the LCD has to be a little bitt more bigger then now thats my point and now its up tp you Motorola.Thanks

to get more storge capacity you have to compress the mrdia files on your computer for instance make the MP3 mono instead of stereo then you can store double number of songs on your phone..... for the sms storge from the message setup choose the store to phone option....

hi guys,just about to go out and buy one of these lil phones,can anyone tell me if the bluetooth works for transfering data from one phone to another,like pics,ringtones. just got a nec e540 and it said it was bluetooth but when i rung nec they said only for headsets. is the bluetooth on the motorole "real"!!!?

well, i've used this phone for qutie a while...
it's bacis features are alright but, there's qutie a prob abt the memory and it's always lagging... by the way, i just learn how to adjust the vol. when you are playing the music, press menu and left or right...(it wasn't written at the bk.. and i knew it by chance...)
any one knows how to 'compress' the memory?
pls e-mail me with the subject moto l6...

if you want to change the volume when watchin vids (i assume mp3s are the same, but i dont have any on my fone yet) you press the middle button (the centre one of the round one *not the middle one nearest the screen) and then press left. so you def can turn the volume down and up, they just dont seem to tell u in the manual or anything! helpful.
does anyone know how to change the message alert tone, or if this can be done at all??
and does anyone know if theres someway to increase the number of sms it can hold, coz i only have 10 on my sim and its already saying its at 5/6 on storage space! this cant be right...

p.s this is a good wee fone, its cheap, thin and light. but really could do with a bit more storage - but then with the pros wat can you expect. if your expectin a fone with loads of storage for mp3s and stuff, ur better spendin more.

Please help me find the way to adjust the volume of the phone when playing the sounds from the sounds file. its not the volume of the ring signal

SOME ANSWERS for the posters below:
-this phone can play sound files with extentions mp3 and mid so no wav can be played... so any file via bluetooth must be mp3 or mid
-this phone doesn't have volume control in the media player by defult it's on highest volume
-yes this phone has light sensor so when there's enough light the keypad is off, for getting more battery life...
-the battery is good but you must charge it for the first time at least for 8 hours with the phone is off and make this every 40 to 50 charges so you get better performance this's for any chargable battery...

well wen i first got this phone i wasnt to sure weather i would like it as it wasnt really my style but the camera is fabulous it is so clear, the video is brilliant it can hold up to 5 mins i think,and it is the latest phone yet and it has got a 5 star rating and i personally think u should buy it because it is a great phone and is so cheap!!

I own this phone for like 2 weeks... in my opinion its wasnt worth to purchase...
The battery (with gods help) holds just for a day... its not best for sms because the symbol "confirmation" (the u need to type 2 letters from the same button) is slow takes like 2 secs... and the buttons are to near one to another...the phone is also pretty slow... the screen as it is said in review screams for finger prints... the pluses are the bluetooth although i havent used it beacause most of my friends have phones with IR... it also looks good and is cheap
2 myDh as i noticed there is some sort of light detector or smth to the left side of the phones keypad and ir reacts to the light conditions and coontrols if the light...
