Motorola launches Moto Hubs, exclusive chain of retail outlets in India

Prasad, 03 August 2017

Motorola has announced that it will be opening a chain of retail stores across India. Called Moto Hubs, these stores will let customers do something they haven't for a while with Motorola devices in India: try them out before buying.

Six of the stores are launching today, including two in NOIDA (Great India Place, Logix Mall), one in Indirapuram (Shipra Mall), and three near Mumbai (Xperia Mall, Korum Mall, Viviana Mall). The company plans to open 50 Moto Hubs by the end of by the end of this financial year. As an inauguration offer, buyers will get free Motorola accessories with the purchase of G, E and C series devices and 50% off on Moto Mods purchased alongside the Moto Z2 Play, along with EMI options.

The Moto Hubs will feature Motorola's entire range of devices and accessories, which has been online exclusive since the company opened its shop again in India in 2014. Customers will once again have the option to try out the devices and accessories like Moto Mods before they put down their money. A large portion of Indian buyers still shop online so this will work out better for Motorola as well.
