In South Africa, You need to go on any MTN shop to find Milestone with android 2.1 out of the box.
Milestone is the best phone you can buy believe me. You will never buy any Sony Ericsson again after using Milestone which is also cheap now.

Can any1 tell...if songs can b sent via bluetooth. ....
I cn send videos n pictures via BT but not songs....

Seen a good offer on Milestone in South Africa. Don't know any current Motorola users. Everyone I've spoken to has negative comments re: Motorola. This phone looks great and I really like it. Should I buy it as I will need to keep it for 2 years on contract. Will it last (my SE W850i is 4 yrs old but getting tired)? Lastly how is Motorola's backup. Any feedback please!

some bad points on smart phone...
1) Milestone: small internal storage (thing will change if upgarde to 2.2), no FM radio (but can download an app call "TuneIn Radio" to listen to world wide station)
2) Desire: only single LED flash, mic didn't have built-in noise cancellation
3) Galaxy S: no flash light, customize UI not as good as HTC
4) X10: no multi touch even upgarde to 2.1 (which mean some games can't play), no FM radio (can download an app call "TuneIn Radio" to listen to world wide station)
5) iPhone 4: no flash support on web browsing, non user replaceable battery
6) N8: QWERTY keyboard only in landscape mode, no user replaceable battery
7) Win Phone 7: no copy & paste at the moment, not yet support Asia language
8) BlackBerry: need subscrible to BB data plan for push email

i found that applications on ios is cool and i love it but i really want to know about android before i decide to buy one of them. i never use android phone !!

sk, 17 Oct 2010I cant talk for long on my Motorola MILESTONE it get over heatedUse headphones. ...n remember evry set gets heated while talking....its normal..dnt 4get it uses crystal clear technlgy which hv good affect on battery. ...

Nice gadgetic phn....good fast processor...
Heating is obvious....my frnd uses lg gw620 it gets more heatd thn milestone....
I honestly recommend dat d camera is slightly disappointing bt overall one of d best smart phone to use.
dnt 4get dat Nexus One n HTC have even. worst camera....

In Spec's it says milestone has Adobe Flash Player v10.1, but in review it says no flash support for web browser. Can anyone clarify for me what the flash player can play. thanks
