            Dear Sir,
I have bought Motorola Milestone 2.1 version at Dubai International Airport. After receiving the handset
I am not able to access 3G facility from BSNL, India. BSNL company says, this handset is not having 3g facility.

Though it shows BSNL mobile, it does not show the places where I am travelling. (Formerly i was using Sony Ericson which had the facility of 3G and the places where I am travelling.

Kindly tell me how to access these facilities in India and that too from BSNL

Indeed, I only use the keyboard about 10% of the time, partly because I don't know how to type Chinese, hence I need to use "handwriting" via touchscreen.

s33, 17 Aug 2010@ 100Moto & Anonymous(the stranger who helped me:-)) ... moreFirst of all, congrats (but don't count on me for battery time! Again I still bet the phone would bring you so much fun that....yes, you'll likely drain up the battery within a day...but definitely with plenty of enjoyment).

I've unlimited data plan on mine, though I heard an app call APNdroid which allows you to turn off data.

To save battery, adjust the brighness, ensure functions like GPS and my location using wireless network are off. screen timeout, etc..

You can also go to setting -> about phone => battery usage and see what drains the most out of your battery.

                                Good luck!

i already have the task killer.

even "ringdroid" also had that message....why would an app like "ringdroid"/similar apps use internet?

you can download "Advacned task killer" from android market..

open it and u can kill the processes running and hence u can save the battery life..by killing the processes regularly u can get fully charged battery for nearly 14 hours..
