[deleted post]Sorry I can't comment on the Sync issue as I don't use such function.

Though regarding the battery life, if you have been using E71 or considering Blackberry 9700, with screen size about 2.4", Milestone would "not" be your cup of tea...if your primary focus is on texting.

Milestone comes with a 3.7" capacitive touchscreen, which neither of the handsets mention above comes even close. The main selling point of Milestone with its 3.7" display (even larger than iphone), is for easy browsing on the internet, youtube, games, plus all the fun from Android market, etc...

Of course, if you never owned a touchscreen phone before, you may not be able to imagine why you need one. Though for most who got used to touchscreen, most find it hard to go back to non-touch.

If battery life and texting are your main concern, you either get an extra battery for Milestone, or charge the phone in your office via USB, or consider Blackberry instead.

If you want the fun from Android and better battery life, get either the Motorola Flipout or Charm.

I was wondering if the Droid 2 (not to be confused with Droid X) is worth the wait or not? I'm in desperate need of a new phone, and I heard there isn't much of a difference between the Droid and the Droid 2 other than the processor and the keypad.
It is said that the Droid 2 will be shipped with Android 2.2, but I also read that Droid will get the 2.2 soon.

Too bad they don't mention that the Milestone has a very powerful processor. Even though it's "only" 600 Mhz it is much more powerful than the 1 GHz snapdragon. It handles 3D much better and can output over 600 million pixels/second. Snapdragon only around 133 million/second
